The first and only time I’ve tried some canned chili garbage was from a roommate a long time ago. He was from Cincinnati and I guess the best food that shithole country has is Skyline Chili. He hyped it up so much and finally had some bootlegged into Colorado from a friend. I think I saw his ego shrink a few sizes when all I said was “yeah, that’s ok” after a few bites

I’ve made/eaten chili just about as many ways as there are to have it, beans included(shut your holes, I don’t wanna hear it) and as long as it’s homemade it’s usually awesome
The Skyline Chile has a sweetness to it along with very little spice. It sucks. Skyline Chili started off in Cincinnati.
I like and put beans in mine. Homemade is the way to go.
