I was making some dope tables last night and wanted to check my adjustment range on a NXS 5.5-22 and I noticed it had really inconsistent and "mushy" elevation turret. I don't remember it being like this last time at the range and was wondering if I need to check something or send it in. I tried to do a search but nothing came up, thanks.

The 4 zero stop screws where all loose, after tightening them, problem solved.

Re: NXS HS mushy turrets

About how much play do you have? For instance my NF has MOA turrets, and have about a hash-mark's line of play, meaning that if I were to align the hashmark on the scope body with the turret mark of the elevation/windage I want I can move the turret so that the line is only partially to just barely not continuous, if that makes sense.

Re: NXS HS mushy turrets

The lines mark up perfectly, can't think anything else to compare it other than being mushy. If i turn the turret it is hard to feel each click and is also not as audible. Also when turning the turrets sometimes it will get more profound clicks in both feel and sound. The windage is fine nice clicks. If one of the 4 screws for the zero stop become loose would that cause an issue?
