Magnums/Lapua have dual ejectors. I've seen a picture of a dual ejector 6.5 cm/308 bolt but can't find one to buyAnyone know if the new bolts have dual extractors. My SRS A1 seams to eject on the weak side, sometimes leaving a case in the breach.
I suspect that it has already been asked and answered, but is it possible to get an M2 handguard for either an A1 or A2?
And to make up for me asking a question that’s probably already been answered, here’s a video of the first time shooting my HTI with .50 conversion a couple weeks ago.

If it isn’t an out of spec rail you could use some retaining compound to bed the recoil lugs on the mount to the rail.Has anyone had an issue with there scope mount moving on there rail?
I have a NX8 4-32 in a NF uni-mount and I could see a bit of a rub mark in the ceracote on the rail so I checked the torque on my rail and it was good. I then backed off the cross bolts and the scope was against the rear of the picatinny slots instead of the front. I am running a raked brake and I have heard that they can cause a scope to slide back. I just haven't had it happen to me before.
I was thinking of doing something like that. If you could fill the gap behind the lugs it would be locked in. Have you done this before? What compound would you use? I would think it would have to be something that isn't very runny. If it isn’t an out of spec rail you could use some retaining compound to bed the recoil lugs on the mount to the rail.
Something like loctite 620 or 680 is what I would use.I was thinking of doing something like that. If you could fill the gap behind the lugs it would be locked in. Have you done this before? What compound would you use? I would think it would have to be something that isn't very runny.
All the time because my Anvil 30 takes it or Arca... why spend the money when it works just as well for me?People still use picatinny?
Yeah but arca locks into a 30 easier and is nicer for shooting off a bag or flat surface. All the time because my Anvil 30 takes it or Arca... why spend the money when it works just as well for me?
Yep but you guys are running newer chassis. I have an original Gen 2. So it's heavy and all railed out like a cool Tacticool Honda driving ... you can fill in the rest.Yeah but arca locks into a 30 easier and is nicer for shooting off a bag or flat surface.
pic and it’s attachments is slimmer tho
like this little guy on my covert

needs a new ejector spring, easy fix.Anyone know if the new bolts have dual extractors. My SRS A1 seams to eject on the weak side, sometimes leaving a case in the breach.
Thanks! I used a technique where I ran my off hand thumb/palm between the scope bell and the forearm to apply pressure downward on the bag with light shoulder pressure into the butt pad. This helped a great deal with offsetting the rear-heavy nature of the DT in positional shooting. It’s almost like shooting a carbine with a C-clamp grip.@mountainman308 great write up. Did you not have any issues with rifle balance shooting in positions where you have only the one point of contact (i.e. sawhorse, tripod, etc as opposed to two points with a bipod/rear bag affair)? Any particular mitigation technique you used? I've been using the SRS in competition all year and ran a setup almost identical to yours twice and that has been the biggest issue I've had with the weight being significantly biased to the rear.
I guess if I ever see another guy with a DT at a comp, I'll know its you. Been similarly the only guy with a DT at every competition that I go to haha
What is the deal with the batter plugged into that thing on the scope mount?
That’s a MantisX dry fire trainer. I have found that it makes dry fire much more fun. What is the deal with the batter plugged into that thing on the scope mount?
dual ejectors are for the magnum bolt facesAre there any references for bolt disassembly to swap out that ejector spring? Got this SRS used with no manual.
Nice! Who spun it and what caliber is it in? I’ve been thinking of getting one like that in 300 PRC or Norma. Here comes my new 30 inch straight contour barrel on the SRS A1

I had Dane at DMR spin me up a 28" and a 29: for my ugly twin, both in 300 PRC. Love them!Nice! Who spun it and what caliber is it in? I’ve been thinking of getting one like that in 300 PRC or Norma.
I'm in New Zealand so this barrel chambered and fitted by the local gun smith.Nice! Who spun it and what caliber is it in? I’ve been thinking of getting one like that in 300 PRC or Norma.
I like the unmade RRS rail for the A1 better since I only use it tripod use, I wish it fit on the A2! Sawtooth seems to be the best option for the A1 though from what I’ve found. Is sawtooth the best option for a arca on a SRS a1?
