Virtual education — now normal in most public school districts across the country in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic — does offer parents a more hands-on experience in their children’s education, an experience that, prior to school year kickoff, seemed to be of concern to some teachers who see promoting “social justice” as part of their role as an educator.

Fox News reported last month that at least one Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, schoolteacher was so concerned about “conservative” parents objecting to his instruction that he warned teachers to be careful about who is witnessing their virtual sessions.

“So, this fall, virtual class discussion will have many potential spectators — parents, siblings, etc. — in the same room. We’ll never be quite sure who is overhearing the discourse. The irony appears to be lost on them that their ideology is so fragile that it cannot stand up to criticism and skeptical parents poking holes in it.

For a party that claims to be science based, they seem to really fear the idea that their ideology actually be debated. Debating the quality and merit of an idea is historically a large part of the scientific ideals they claim to adhere to.

Enrollment is up significantly, that should tell you something. The vast majority of discussions here are about shooting. The minority of topics are threads like this. If you don't like threads like these, don't read them and find a topic that interests you.

Well, you are in the one sub forum out of about 64 sub-forums that allows for discussion of current events. That does include politics in case you haven’t noticed. It’s really simple in my eyes. If you don’t want to read this stuff, then read any one of the other dozens of forums. There are tons of discussions about every facet of long range shooting that can be imagined. Going on all of the time, every day.

Literally, there is so much you can read about here, that if all you are seeing is politics, then you need to extract yourself from the Bear Pit, as you are not cut out for this particular level of discussion.

I’m not kidding. Some of you are so immersed in this that you cannot see the forest for the trees. Take a breath and step away from the Bear Pit. Your anxiety should go away then.
