I'm trying to evaluate the validity of the concept of a 22rf as a training rifle (My 6.5CM prints right at 0.50 MoA, and my 338 Norma a repeatable 0.375 MoA.

All my 22rf I've ever owned struggle to get 0.50 " at 50 yards, and seem to throw a few flyers.

I'll go first:

CZ455 Varmint Precision Trainer, 0.4-0.5" at 50 yards. 1 out of 10 - 15 rds I'll get a flyer.

Thanx.

What ammo are you using?

For me it seems the flyers will be down to shooter, environment, or ammo quality.

For your training, once you learn what any particular rifle will do wtih particular ammo, you'll be able to tell if it was you vs. the environment
