Health officials have warned of a potential measles outbreak at Los Angeles International airport.

A passenger arriving on a Korean Air flight from Seoul tested positive for the highly contagious respiratory illness, which is currently ripping its way through Texas.

Wonderful

and anybody wondering how the USA got into the shape it's in today....that explains it. HOwever, it's mainly because GOP absolute NEVER mounts a campaign against anybody like the commies do. Hell, Collins, Murkowski voted against their own party with Patel and others. Until CONSERVATIVES mount an offensive against RINO and Commmies (one in the same) this will always be the case.

Having DOGE expose this should make the mismangement and fraudulent activities more fitting of a 3rd world shithole come to even moderates who still have CDS (conservative derangement syndrome).

Funny that they are giving so little data from Texas. Who is it affecting? Is it by chance running through the Hispanic community? To my knowledge, MMR vaccines have not been too controversial. I would think that if this was “ripping its way” through the white community the media would be screaming about white, Christian vaccine deniers putting the world at risk.

Unfortunately, we follow the rule of law and that is a handicap. If we acted like the looney left, we could clean up most of the low hanging fruit in 30 days.

there is following the law, which I agree is the foundation of a republic. HOWEVER, they could vote NO on things - like justice nominations, budgets, etc, etc. THAT is the problem...RINO's have been in charge and vote YES to anything.

I really don’t know why they don’t bring a 500 and a 1,000 bill back

I collect paper money and have two 500 and one 1,000 dollar bill that my Dad had.
When I was a kid, way back in the 70s we were in Ireland on a trip my father had won for # of sales over a year or something. Anyway at the currency exchange (somehwere along the way) my father spotted at the agents window I think a $10,000 bill. The time frame would suggest a 1000 dollar bill but Dad got the guy to show all of us kids the bill and we were told that'll be the last time you'll likely see one of these again. I want to think it was 10K, but probability was 1K as it'd be highly unusual for an exhange agent to have a 10K bill even then (flew from St. Louis to Dublin, back from Shannon to St. Louis).

Clarence Thomas Wants Supreme Court to Overturn 75-Year-Old Ruling

"The Supreme Court decided Feres v. United States in 1950. The ruling held that the U.S. is not liable for injuries sustained by members of the armed forces while they were on active duty. The decision said the government could still be held responsible for claims that were not "injuries incident to military service."

What was the Ryan Carter v. US case?

Carter was a dual-status military technician and inactive-duty staff sergeant in the Air National Guard reserves. He suffered from a degenerative neck condition and underwent elective neck surgery at a military hospital in 2018. During the surgery, he sustained an injury to his spinal cord that left him paralyzed in all four limbs.

Carter and his wife sued the U.S. under the Federal Tort Claims Act (FTCA), alleging that the government was responsible for the medical staff's negligence.

The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals found that Carter's suit was barred under Feres because he was a military member being treated at a military hospital.
