This is ridiculous. I have to do a weekly report on my activities and I am in sales. You know things like; where I was at, who I saw, what was talked about, any up coming projects and if the customer is having any problems with our equipment or delivery times.
I think we're past believing any letters from the deep state making wild and unsubstantiated claims. Frankly I'm amazed at the hubris of these assholes who serve at the pleasure of the CIC. Their conduct looks almost treasonous to believe that the CIC can't hire and fire flag officers at his will. The military did not and should not work that way or there could be an ACTUAL Constitutional Crisis.
we usually have a weekly meeting with "the boss" and that suffices for an activity report. However, the day after Elon sent this out, one team lead made us start this. I found it funny. Despite all the BS tracking software we have (teams, JIRA, etc) it all boils down to bullet points (as it should).
I demanded this when I ran a team and one member balked at me (20 years ago). But as I told him (and then the director who sided with him), that if you all want to know what the program has done, then I need people to write down their accomplishments. And if you have none, that's fine too so long as you didn't charge to my program.
