Privatizing public works is a great idea on paper, but has proven to be widely disastrous.

I'm against the death penalty because it's a fact that innocent people have been executed but also because of the negative emotional impact to the person performing the execution. Unless you're a sociopath, taking another human's life take's its toll. You find a way to ensure you're 100% taking out guilty parties only and keep a sociopath locked up to pull the switch, fry all you want.

With respect to abortion, we'll have to agree to disagree (or you can remain closed minded and condemn me, who cares). What I'd really like to hear your position on is this: The far right is dead set against entitlements / social safety nets, such as welfare and other assistance for those in need. That's one of the pillars of conservatism. If you're forcing women to have unwanted babies, why wouldn't you want to take care of them? It seems every life is sacred until it leaves the womb, then you're on your own.
