I saw one too many photos of the suffering in the Ukraine. It was too much for me.
Desperately wanting to do something, I called the Ukrainian Consulate last night.
The heavily accented voice on the other end thanked me enthusiastically and profusely for volunteering to fight for his country's freedom. His gratitude was almost non-stop!
I had to interrupt his exuberance to tell him that it wasn't me volunteering.
"Why," he demanded, "did you call?"
I asked him how I could send my ex-wife over there.
He got very angry with me. He explained that, "the Ukrainian people will fight to the bitter end!"
Yelling at me he stated that, "no matter how desperate and badly the war could go, under no circumstances would the Ukrainian people ever help you commit a war crime!"

Axis and Allies 1941 is awesome. Played it all day Christmas Day 2012 with 3 other guys while listening to Trans Siberian Orchestra. The song A Mad Russians Christmas while attacking with Russia and saying "I believe in Christmas miracles" followed by loosing half your guys is funny. It happened to one of the other guys.

Several observations here:
(1) Children, and I mean those people 18 and under, act like they should be treated as adults. They demand that we adults, treat them with the same deference as our colleagues. The children demand their "rights." They demand that parents be left out of their decisions that will affect them for the rest of their lives. This young lady may have been one of those "I'm-smarter-than-my-parents-and-adults" child. She wanted to be treated like an adult, at a time in her life when she was still too immature to make that decision. So, I can't feel sorry for her because she probably told more sober-minded voices to shut up.
(2) We don't know if her parents tried to stop her or not. Nevertheless, there are too many parents that think they should be their child's "friend." We are not called to be our child's "friend." We can still be friendly while being a parent at the same time. Parents will also have to put their foot down to keep their children from doing something stupid. In that process there are times when it can get really ugly. If her parents supported or didn't fight her decision to mutilate herself then they ought to be horsewhipped.
(3) Lawyers and Judges can be the lowest lifeforms on earth. Politicians that make the laws allowing this crime to take place are no different. The aforementioned scumbags have ripped the children from their parents guiding hands and ruined the lives of countless families. If this woman's parents tried to stop this but some lawyer and judge prevented any loving discipline from the bench then I hope that hell is made a thousand times hotter for them unless they repent.
(4) The so-called mental health professionals are a major factor in forming the mindset of women like this. I would not give any of them the sweat off my balls if they were dying of thirst. Even worse, the actors in this entire panoply defer to these mental midgets for questions on morality and sanity. Psychologists and psychiatrists are the Pied Pipers of the 21st century. There isn't enough water in the ocean to drown them.
(5) Then there are the educators. It doesn't take much to get a degree in teaching. Being a good teacher is harder than it looks. Too many teachers from kindergarten to college don't try to be good. If they do anything to tell kids that there are only two genders then they are run out of the academic world never to return. Homeschoolers are regarded as nothing more than Neanderthals to the "woke" school boards. Private Christian schools are brainwashing institutions that leftists want to shutdown. The leftist judges, lawyers, teachers and mental health "geniuses" are taught by the Ivy leagued academics to sabotage other institutions and lives.

It's one thing to be an immigrant, for which I have no problem so long as the immigration was legal; and another thing to still "cling" to the country from which one immigrated. At least to me. I've known multiple dual citizenship people. Not a single one would commit to me that they would never betray their citizenship to the USA...including one that had a clearance!
Now on the other side of that, many leaders of Congress are "citizens of the coin," meaning they'll never give up the "perks" of being a MoC. That type of citizen honestly is probably worse than being a dual citzen - because their level of greed means We the People are nowhere on their reasoning chart, only money & power.

So let's suppose there is a vote, in the future, to sanction Turkey for something that they've done. Or there might be a vote to provide Turkey with something.
Just who's interest will Dr. Oz be promoting? Will he be voting for US or Turkish interests?
Instead of saying he'd give up security clearances traditionally awarded to US senators he should have said that he would renounce his Turkish citizenship.
Some countries don't permit dual citizenship. So for some naturalized US citizens they've taken the big step of forsaking their former citizenship to proudly proclaim this country as their new home.
Dr. Oz wants to be more than a US citizen. Is it too much to ask him to give up Turkish citizenship? I don't think so.

I can assure you being a dual citizen will absolutely factor into the adjudication decision for clearances, and especially for compartmented and SAP accesses. Dependency on the adjucating authority, holding a dual citizenship will lead to an automatic rejection. Unfortunately, congress scum and administration appointees are treated differently than the rank and file.
That said, fuck him. If he's not willing to renounce his citizenship, especially to a questionable country like Turkey, then his loyalties should rightfully be called into question. Elected officials in this country should not be allowed to claim dual citizenship. You're either all in for this country, or you can fuck off.

Most of the time the advantage to having multiple citizenships is if you have family abroad, it's easier to go see them without having to worry about the whole visa problem. (And no the whole rest of the world doesn't just throw their doors open for the great Americans anymore than the Americans do for anyone else). Often much less hassle if you have citizenship than as a guest. Just ask how our "border security" types like to play god and master when non-citizens try to come for a visit.
Your example is a bit pointless as a good part of the federal politicians seem to be bought and paid for by money, that is a much bigger problem that does somebody happen to possibly like another country as well.
I'd suggest before worrying about some senator who might have several citizenships and what they might hypothetically think about in a vote, you could perhaps think about our very own "born in the USA with oh so great only 1 citizenship" current president and how money flowing to his family may have affected his actions... or the congress critters sleeping with Chinese spies, and so on.
