That range is Thunder Valley Precision in Eastern Ohio. Targets at 2,3,4,5,6,7,1000, 1100, 1200 and a mile. Adding a 2300 or 2400 yard target for next year. I usually make a trip there 2-3 times a year, $30 on an open range day for the entire day.Amazing looking range, where's that at? Who's cutting the grass???
Not too shabby looking rifle too![]()
I like those cheek pads, who makes them? Thanks

I think the 700P is an excellent rifle for the money. Great setup.Old, old, incredibly old skool build. Rest of the parts are coming in. R700P 308. Floorplate, action screws, and cerakote should be in Friday. View attachment 7468871View attachment 7471104
Both are awesome setups! I love the MRAD rifle, but I guess I've not really heard of the Lima (no surprise, as I'm sure there are tons of custom makers I've not heard of), but that Lima is simple gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.Added a brake to my Lima 51 today. Took it and my MRAD to the indoor range and did some testing with it. Just a standard loading of 168 SMK and 43.5 grains of Varget. A load I use in all my bolt guns, nothing worked up for this rifle.
Something funky is going on with the pictures site wide it seems....FIXED!

Calling that incredibly old school makes me feel really old as we were issued those for quite a while. I am only 42.Old, old, incredibly old skool build. Rest of the parts are coming in. R700P 308. Hoping it likes 105 gn RDF's the barrel is specifically chambered for the Hornady 108's. I haven't been able to find any?? Being close to Bend, OR I have great access to Nosler, so I prefer to use their bullets.. Planning on starting with H4350, Nosler Brass and CCI #200 primers. should be a fun rifle!!

Just over 15 lbs with a magazineVery nice rig. How much does it weigh?
Hey! That sure looks like the Calverton range that I shoot at. That and Ridge range by the VA cemetery in Brookhaven.Took this out of the safe today, my first Sako TRG 42 probably 15/18 years old. Been mothballed way too long. My son shooting golf balls @ 200 yards. Oh, I added the Sako bipod from the 40% off sale Beretta was having on Labor day.

Amen to that Brother! Twice a week is sweet. I have to drive an hour each way to get there. Cant wait to move down to South Carolina where Freedom still reigns. We have a range setup in my kids backyard. 400 yards from the front porch. There be land down there!Yes indeed it is. I try to go twice a week, as far down the 200 yard side of things. Keeps me safer![]()
That is a truly beautiful setup. Thanks for sharing!!!!2017 FTR rifle.
Holy crap. How long is that Barrel?! Love the bipod also. That rig is a piece of jewelry. Can you provide a parts list?2017 FTR rifle.
Yeah, i did something similar with a Savage 30-06. Now in a TAC21 chassis. I went with a Criterion and could not be happier! Accuracy very similar to Proof and Bartlien. Here's my "oops I bought a cheap rifle on a whim, then put it in a chassis on a whim now I have too much invested and will rebarrel it, rifle."
- Mossberg Patriot in 6.5 Creedmoor
- MDT LLS Gen2 Chassis
- Burris Signature HD 5-25x50 6.5 CM reticle
- Plan to put a 24" bull barrel, manufacturer undecided.

Sweet for hunting or target! Nice rig.I just picked this up from Alamo precision this week. It has an old remmington 700 that they trued and sent somewhere to have the firing pin bushed and a m16 extractor installed. It’s a 6.5x47 16.5” proof sendero 1-8twist. The stock is a a3 sporter edge fill that was painted by josh at bmc customs. (I was drunk one night talking to him I mentioned Rhodesian brushstroke, this is what he came up with) the scope is a mk5 in seekins rings.View attachment 7505830 it weighs 9lb5oz as she sits omega 30 and all. I think I’ll try 130eld’s first and if those don’t work I’ll go lighter.
