Just received my new GAP this week after 8 month wait...haven't driven her yet but will by this weekend. Templar 6.5 CM

What you guys think?

If its shoots anything like the one I got from Papagallos you will love it.. I have been on the " should I sell the Surgeon or the GAP 6.5CM fence a couple of times just because I have OCD and I can't help myself, in the end I decide against both.. Nice stick btw

Decided not to get it dipped because I didn't want to ruin the original finish. I got the vinyl tape from US Night Vision in a big 12x12 sheet and did it myself. Not as good as a dip job but came out better than i thought. The butt would be mor of a pain because of the continuous curves so i will leave it for now. Maybe i will dip it if it grows on me :)
But this way I can take it off later or change patterns without damaging the original paint.

Nice and that looks like that pic was taken at Manatee on the far left side

223 Tactical

What model tactical, and what ammo/loads? Great shooting.

i wouldn't call it a budget build but it qualifies. Built specifically for what I wanted and needed and didn't buy any extra features or capabilities.
Winchester post-70 action
Shilen 26" 7mm RM
trigger and action professionally worked over.
Choate "ultimate" varmint stock.
Bushnell ET1040 Mil/MOA 10x
Burris Signature rings w/ 10MOA from eccentrics
Weaver 20MOA base (with the eccentrics and the base mechanical adjustment sits dead nuts center of the scopes range)
Harris S 6-9" w podlock.

Trying to decide on the next barrel. This one has 2K rounds through it and still performs brilliantly but it can't last forever.

Just your typical GA Precision Hospitaller in .308 and finished in Flat Dark Earth. It is topped by a Schmidt and Bender PMII 5-25x56. 24 inch barrel. I opted for additional magazines (I got 2 AW 10 rounders and an AICS 5 rounder) and a Jewell Trigger. The trigger is AMAZING. It is externally adjustable and it feels 10 times better than my Rifle Basix trigger I had on my old Remington 700P. I guess the German idea of Flat Dark Earth is a bit different that the American version, such is the contrast. But no worries really. My only concern was the barrel and the scope heating up too much in the sun alone when in black.

I cannot wait to shoot this thing.

These groups are from the XLR with 162 AMAX Loads, why, oh why did they suspend production on such an amazing projectile.

Here are mine, one STS R700 AI in .308. The other contracted out the work on the Savage 7rm in an XLR.

here is a couple pics of my 260, and one of my friends son having some fun behind the trigger.

Badger 2008 action
krieger barrel cut to 20" 1in8
AICS 2.0 stock
Rifle Basix trigger
AAC cyclone can
Good ole Vortex Razor hd
she love 139gr scenars and 140gr hornady match.
Its not super fancy but i love it and nothing inside of 1400yrds is safe. Plus all my friends kids love to shoot it since the recoil is so little and nothing puts a smile on their face like hitting what they are aiming at for the first time at 500yrds.

This rifle might look familiar to some of you since it did come from the classifieds here. Just got it this afternoon, plan to get some rounds down range sometime Saturday or Sunday.

It looks like the KRG kydex skid plate. They made a limited amount of those and they all sold out. If you check the KRG whiskey 3 Gen 4 thread there is more info on it over there.

Newly received GAP Crusader in .308 with S&B 3-20x50, H2CMR reticle. Hoping it shoots as good as it looks! With it's FN SPR pal, outfitted with Hensoldt 4-16x56, NH1 reticle.
