Range Finder question

I'm looking to get a range finder. I'm stuck between getting the Bushnell fusion binos and most likely a Swaro mono version.

For hunting, it seems like the binos would be more useful, since I normally carry a pair anyway. The other question is, are the binos good enough glass to use as binos when not hunting or using the ranging capacity of them?

Or is my money better spent getting a good set of binos and a good monocular range finder.

Thanks for any comments or insight.

Re: Range Finder question

I already have a set of Steiner 7x50 binos that pretty much blow away everything else I've looked through but like you I was thinking about a Bushnell fusion, then I found Gander had clearanced Leica 1200 CLR for ~$415 and I jumped on it.

Hopefully some folks that have used the Bushnell will chime in on their Bino quality. Everything I've read about the rangefinder is good to great.
