APLR3 Reticle from Athlon, except with 1Mil outter stadia as menioned above, and a center crosshair of .03Mil thick.
Also a fan of the G3 reticle from Bushnell.

This is exactly what I'd like to see. Agree that a floating center dot would be tits as well.If I had this with .2 subtensions and .5 wind dots it would be on every single rifle I own. There are no more crossover FFP reticles in the marketplace and its a void that needs to be filled as precision hunting is only growing.
Edit: Add a floating center dot too

koshkin, have you heard from Meopta or representatives lately on reticles proposed for the Optika6 ?, and availability?
The scopes will be available around May. Reticles are being finalized now, hence this thread.
ILya
Might have to wait till May to buy my next scope then.
XTR3 might be available for comparison then too.
I'm just going to say that my use for scopes is typical hunting under 300 yards and the good old German 4A reticle is my favorite. Whatever Meopta decides to do, PLEASE tell them not to drop the basic reticles. It still blows my mind that Vortex basically doesn't make scopes with simple non ballistic reticles. I would say that is still the bulk of the market.
Meopta's version is the 4C, which is great in my R2.

3-18x50 FFP, 3-18x56 FFP and 5-30x56 FFP
either SKMR3 with a 1.5 or 2 mil circle of death and 1 mil outer/upper stadia
or APRS1 with a 1.5 or 2 mil circle of death and 1 mil thick upper/outer stadia
I'm genuinely excited about these scopes, if they get the reticles right I plan putting them on all of my versatile hunting rifles.
Do you know why the 2.5-15 is only in sfp? A ffp version with something like the Bushnell g2h would be exactly what I would like.
This is Meopta we are talking about, you don't have to worry about that.
But they already have what you are looking for in plenty of their optics in the Meostar 1, 2 and Meopro line.I love your confidence but I don't share it. They just posted to Facebook talking about doing a 1" line and asking for suggestions. Most of the comments so far are for FFP scopes with funky reticles for "do it all from 20 to 1000 yards." Ugh... this is when scope manufacturers start to conclude that Americans aren't interested in normal scopes/reticles anymore. Already happened with Zeiss, as they save their best hunting scopes for Europe now. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Meopta doing the same with their R2s or whatever in the future. The fact that they are even asking about a 1" line makes me wonder.
Again, I hope you're right...

I am supposed to be receiving one of the early prototypes of a scope with dichroic reticle today, so I can make sense of the visibility in low light among other things...
ILya
Can you tell us anything about the prototype or is it under strict embargo?
4.5-27X50 has too little elevation available to be interesting for me.
I'll second this. A tree reticle.I would be most interested in the following configurations:
3-18x50 FFP
4.5-27x56 FFP
5-20x56 FFP
If Meopta put a tree reticle with floating center dot similar to the Minox MR4, Kahles SKMR3, Athlon APRS1, or Trijicon Accupower MRAD 4.5-30x56 into any of these scopes, I would definitely be interested in buying a couple.
It also has a smaller field of view at 4.5x than the 5-30 does at 5x. I'm not sure why they're bothering with the 4.5-27 honestly.

+1,000,000
It's getting to the point that in order to buy a quality scope with a simple, usable reticle I have to order from optics-trade.eu because nobody makes or imports scopes for our markets with simple 4Ai reticles.
When I said here it is, I literally meant...here it is.I would also put the center floating dot that’s in the mil boxes on the parts of the tree that have 4 mils of wind as well. That makes it easier to count which mil box you are on.
Floating center dotLooking at the new reticle on my cell phone and can't resolve so well - does it have a floating center dot, or a floating center crosshair?
Thank you for all your work on this. Well done. That's a question for Meopta. I'll check.
