Rifle Scopes Reticles for Meopta Optika 6 scopes.

Basically, here is what I am curious about: if a particular configuration is appealing to you, what reticle would make you want to buy it?

1-6x24 SFP
Acss / sm1 type reticle with horseshoe/circle

3-18x50 FFP
Tree type with floating dot - gen 3xr

If I had this with .2 subtensions and .5 wind dots it would be on every single rifle I own. There are no more crossover FFP reticles in the marketplace and its a void that needs to be filled as precision hunting is only growing.
Edit: Add a floating center dot too

This is exactly what I'd like to see. Agree that a floating center dot would be tits as well.

I'm leaning towards the 3-18x56, but not set on SFP or FFP for this gun yet. I'm currently using a LRHS 3-12 and really like the g2h reticle and since the 3-18 will be on a hunting gun, it could do well for me.
On the higher mag scopes (27x and 30x) I'd like to see something with a tree + dot like the EBR-7b.

I'm just going to say that my use for scopes is typical hunting under 300 yards and the good old German 4A reticle is my favorite. Whatever Meopta decides to do, PLEASE tell them not to drop the basic reticles. It still blows my mind that Vortex basically doesn't make scopes with simple non ballistic reticles. I would say that is still the bulk of the market.

Meopta's version is the 4C, which is great in my R2.

This is Meopta we are talking about, you don't have to worry about that.

3-18x50 FFP, 3-18x56 FFP and 5-30x56 FFP
either SKMR3 with a 1.5 or 2 mil circle of death and 1 mil outer/upper stadia
or APRS1 with a 1.5 or 2 mil circle of death and 1 mil thick upper/outer stadia

I'm genuinely excited about these scopes, if they get the reticles right I plan putting them on all of my versatile hunting rifles.

Get your wallet ready.

Would be very interested in the 3-18x50/56 and or 4.5-27x56, both as FFP. Atm I can't tell if the gen 2 md has hash marks (replying on a phone) but if not they need to add them and make them at least 0.4 in length. Done. Adding the desire for the gen 2 XR as others have mentioned but if I could suggest make the dots standard 0.2 mil and lengthen the half mil hash marks to 0.4 for the lower mag model. Keep it simple and easy.

I love your confidence but I don't share it. They just posted to Facebook talking about doing a 1" line and asking for suggestions. Most of the comments so far are for FFP scopes with funky reticles for "do it all from 20 to 1000 yards." Ugh... this is when scope manufacturers start to conclude that Americans aren't interested in normal scopes/reticles anymore. Already happened with Zeiss, as they save their best hunting scopes for Europe now. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Meopta doing the same with their R2s or whatever in the future. The fact that they are even asking about a 1" line makes me wonder.

Again, I hope you're right...

But they already have what you are looking for in plenty of their optics in the Meostar 1, 2 and Meopro line.

I get it. I am saying future. Zeiss had them all, too, until they didn't. We don't want these companies saving their best traditional offerings for other markets because they don't think American's do that kind of stuff any more.

I would like to see the following Meoptia Optika 6 -series sights

3-18x50 FFP EBR-7C MRAD, MSR or Mildot Gen2
3-15x56 FFP EBR-7C MRAD, MSR or Mildot Gen2
5-30x56 FFP EBR-7C MRAD, Gen 3XR or MSR2

4.5-27X50 has too little elevation available to be interesting for me.

I would be most interested in the following configurations:
3-18x50 FFP
4.5-27x56 FFP
5-20x56 FFP

If Meopta put a tree reticle with floating center dot similar to the Minox MR4, Kahles SKMR3, Athlon APRS1, or Trijicon Accupower MRAD 4.5-30x56 into any of these scopes, I would definitely be interested in buying a couple.
I'll second this. A tree reticle.

+1,000,000

It's getting to the point that in order to buy a quality scope with a simple, usable reticle I have to order from optics-trade.eu because nobody makes or imports scopes for our markets with simple 4Ai reticles.

MSR2, SCR2 would be my votes in any of the 3-18+ optics. I’m sure that will/would increase prices but I am over the Christmas tree reticles that everyone wants and few actually use.

LOL, I have cart filled with items at optics-trade.eu that I keep musing about. My beloved Zeiss Victory HTs, still in full production in Europe, the V6 2-12x50 with #60 illuminated reticle, only offered in Europe, etc!

This is my point. The scope companies' perception is that Americans are no longer interested in these things, just long range scopes with Christmas tree reticles sitting in chassis rifles weighing 12 pounds. Threads like these go a long way to reinforcing that, hence I am chiming in with a "please don't forget us hunters" which, I argue, is still the bulk of the market.

BTW, not throwing shade on anyone who does want these newer offerings. Innovation is good, but we should be aware of how companies will respond.

3-18x56 FFP MIL SKMR, SKMR3, MR5, MSR, EBR

And the 6-30x56 with same style reticles

Simple, clean reticle. They can basically take their pick of offerings from the last decade, just do something!

Gentlemen, here it is:

I like it as well,
.2 on the underside of the x axis with .5 holds above.
.2 the whole way down the y axis
.5 dots for inbetween elsewhere.

The inly thing I dont like is the alternating labels, 10 on the left, 11 on the right, 12 on the left etc but thats a minor quip in that its clear above 3 mils and if I were holding that much then I would be taking more time to look and make sure anyways.
