Been looking into a precision 22 and came across WTO. Anyone have input on their CSX-22? Looks like a tricked out 10-22 in a Manners.
Didn't manners themselves at one point do the cs stock for the 10/22? Did they stop?Be interesting to see if they offer just the manners for 10/22 platforms.
Hell, I guess I didn’t even know that. It still shows up on their sight, so assuming they still offer it. I stand corrected, thanksDidn't manners themselves at one point do the cs stock for the 10/22? Did they stop?
looks like an l3i designs. Or if you have a 3d printer atlas target works has a free file for oneWho makes the “magazine block” or whatever they are called that you have in the rifle?

That looks great VooDoo. I have an old Ruger kicking around and you've inspired me to do the same sort of setup for my wife.View attachment 7769099
Always wanted to do this....My Wife inherited a Ruger 10/22 from her Dad's collection and asked me if I would trick it out/lighten it up (she's 5' tall/100 lbs) and get an adjustable stock and red dot sights. So over the Holiday Break I spiffed her all up with a Gungner Polymer chassis and adjustable AR Buttstock. Replaced the barrel with a 16.5" helical fluted barrel (12 oz!!!) from Tactical Solutions and added a compensator/brake, Ruger 25 round mags, Bushnell reflex Red Dot, a green laser on the underside front Picatinny rail, oversize red charging handle, and Ergo SureGrip.
Mama is very happy with her upgraded Ruger 10/22.
VooDoo
That looks great. I paid $880 for my VPT, a new stock cost almost that much. The more I shoot it the better it does. I think this one’s a keeper. I do have a new Annie on the way though.
My Kestrel says 3.70 Mils for that distance, must have it calibrated pretty close to the same as yours. 20" barrel?
Yup 20" MTU Bartlein, using Center X ammoMy Kestrel says 3.70 Mils for that distance, must have it calibrated pretty close to the same as yours. 20" barrel?
Is that a Badger EFR or is it someone elses? Here is mine.
I guess I never posted these here. I built 2 V-22s for my daughter's to shoot with me. Unfortunately they never have time to go...

Dang, 3oz trigger, can you feel it when it breaks? A buddy has a center fire with a 2oz trigger, when you think your finger touches it, it goes bang.CZ 457 VPT and VPT MTR. Both are set up for ARA Factory class for now. Both have BScar 3oz. single stage triggers and Sinclair F class bipods. View attachment 7787123
At first it feels that way. You can touch them, but it only takes a minimal amount of pull to break the shot. Actually for what I’m using them for I wouldn’t mind them being a little lighter.Dang, 3oz trigger, can you feel it when it breaks? What are the build specs on that one with the Kidd trigger? One for plinking and one for target work. Love my rimfires! It seems I may have missed my Budget on both, lol
Empirically speaking it does. Testing show's an aggregate gain of roughly 1/8th to 1/4-inch improvement in overall group size. And a significantly reduction in offhand POA / POI dispersion. But hey your just here for the troll I guess. NICE !i'd imagine that brake does literally nothing, but it does look cool
It is simply the standard BXR-01 steel with a KIDD two stage swapped for the Bergara trigger unit. Nothing else changed. The BXR is a bit tighter tolerance than the standard 10/22. Run one against a stock 10/22 if you get the chance and you can easily tell. They feel smoother more "snik", "sink" than clack, clack. The OME trigger wasn't bad at all. Just I like nice things. And a KIDD is a nice trigger for sure. What are the build specs on that one with the Kidd trigger?
I'm sure Steve Foster and TODD at Wiland can set you up with all the machining CAD / machining metrics you need to satisfy your obvious bias. Anyone at first glance would characterize your first comment as trollist, truly if it was just, you being you then you can understand my retort.Actually i was super serious, I figured the 22lr does not have enough gas to affect rifle of that size... But since you have data then it works, that is actually awesome to hear. I am skeptical, my intuition is that a well done target crown should disperse the gasses evenly and should be the end all/be all for accuracy, but that brake must have some really nice and tight machining to equate even gas dispersion.
Not here to troll, but if you want me to troll then: you're**
We have 5 full Kidd ULW rifles, 4 for Rimfire Challenge (one for me, each daughter and son-in-law) and the other one is my "Squirrel Gun"...there's a picture of the squirrel gun at the top of the previous page. I also have another Kidd trigger in my Ruger 10/22 Target with the 20" stainless "spiral" barrel. Fantastic ! ,..... scarry thought! imagine a world without .22lr or 10/22 platform. Hi, my name is Cowpokey and I'm a .22lr addict. I have somewhere north of 30 of them right now.Fantastic ! ,..... scarry thought! imagine a world without .22lr or 10/22 platform. I'd be sad.
I'm getting there! Only have three but really think a Norrel trigger pack is next... for reasons!Hi, my name is Cowpokey and I'm a .22lr addict. I have somewhere north of 30 of them right now.
Funny! I have north of 14,000 rounds of .22lr on hand...need a couple more cases though. Burn though a lot of rounds doing rimfire challenge, especially if more than one of the kids go with me.Hell even I have more than 30 rounds off 22 ammo.![]()
