Rimfire Rifle Photos Thread

Switched to a Vortex GE on my Annie. Had a hard time seeing tiny targets with my old eyes with the Razor HD LH.

My CZ 452 Scout ... Basically it's my backyard Squirrel sniper.

I run two different cans on it shooting subsonic HPs. The one in the pic is SF's Ryder 22-A. The other is a Mask.

So far this is my "precision" .22lr. Like gonna move onto a bolt action of some type. It's a PA 6X scope w/ ACSS reticle. I did install a Geiselle SSA-E two stage trigger. It is definitely my current favorite to shoot. Maybe it's the Mcfaddon easy loader. :D

Had this rifle for awhile now but other projects and deployments have kept it sidelined in the safe. Finally got around to putting scope on and will shoot some groups this weekend, looking forward to it!

Just put together this gem.
CZ 455 Varmint
Mcrees G10
Ergo Deluxe
Timney Trigger
Vortex HST
Area 419 Scope Rail
Nightforce Rings
Federal Ultra MatchView attachment 6875511

How do you like the Area 419 rail? I was thinking of picking one up for my 455. The DIP has served me well just like the way this one clamps to the dovetail better..

One more quick question, what are the height of those Nightforce rings? The 419 rail is a good bit higher than the DIP I've been using, gonna try to get lower rings as well.

This is a little different than most posted here...not a precision rig, just a little plinker.

This is one I wanted to mod to the gills, but keep it somewhat factory appearing...my version of the ultimate classic carbine.

Specs on the build:

-factory receiver, stripped and polished
-factory 18" stainless barrel, polished
-factory metal trigger housing, reshaped a bit and polished
-walnut carbine stock, stripped sanded and refinished
-factory metal barrel band and buttplate, polished
-factory bolt, polished with a VQ extractor
-Rimfire technologies polished target trigger
-Volquartsen match hammer and sear
-rimfire technologies polished mag release
-nodak sights, polished
-auto bolt release, polished
-superior concepts charging handle, polished
-all of the hardware that's visible is also polished ;)

I may replace the stock with one of the crazy striped birch or maple ones I have on the shelf, but I sort of like the classic look of the walnut. After that's decided, I'll install the polished stainless sling studs, and then polish a set of Harris bipods to finish it off.

Not new by any means, but new to me. It's an Underground Skunkworks Model 323 that I just purchased here a week or so ago. I'm just waiting on my Thunder Beast .22 takedown can to see how it shoots. This thing has one of the cleanest bedding jobs I have ever seen. View attachment 6881094View attachment 6881095View attachment 6881096

Can't believe I missed this, I've drooled over this rifle for years. If you're ever interested in selling I'd be VERY interested! Great snag, beautiful rifle!

Thanks. There is no aftermarket stocks for this rifle I know of so I figured I would try this. Lots of bedding material around action but its more solid than the wood stock it was in.

My fun rifle, CZ 455 with boyds stock, bedded, pillared, oversize knob, EGW 0 Moa base, SWFA 3-15 FFP. Works great for the local 35-200yd monthly steel match.

Old paint scheme over a OD green cerakote base. Didn't like so wiped it off with acetone and elbow grease, want to do a true to era vietnam horizontal tiger stripe pattern next.

KIDD_1.jpg

KIDD receiver, KIDD two-stage trigger, KIDD spiral fluted barrel. PA 4-14x40 and knock-off harris. So far with about 150 rounds of assorted SV down it I am starting to see some progress in the groups. Same rifle had a GM barrel in it before and was an MOA rifle @ 50 but when KIDD released the spiral barrel I really wanted one. GM barrel just means there will have to be another rifle built at some point.

Lot's of really nice rifles in this thread, hope mine fits in and hopefully post up some targets soon.
