I was reading a thread on AR.com about using "Military Time" the 24 hour clock where 1PM is but 13:00 and I go to bed at 23:30. I can't input there as I am a Boomer.
It is not "Military Time" it is just how the rest of the world works. Thank The King/Queen of England for measuring things AM/PM and base 12 instead of base 10 or however it goes, that is another subject.

Who counts their change at the cash register in base 12, schillings and shit like that, or is it a dime is 10 cents? a Dollar is 100 cents? Another day, but think about that.

I use 24 hour clock all of the time. There is nothing to be said when someone asks me what time I want to meet with them. "Would 14:00 be good for you or do you want to meet me at the Barroom/Saloon at 2 fucking AM?

How hard is this? Apparently really hard for my Squaw, but she is learning. For me, it is the only way to go.

Now what's really annoying is the Army and Air Force types who think there's a number fucking "oh", such as "oh-three-thirty". It's fucking zero, get it the fuck right. And they say we're crayon eaters...

The railroad also uses the 24hr system, blast into a work authority when they have people and equipment on the tracks doesn't go over well, everyone is on the same page no AM/PM no such creature.
Any operation that does 24/7 365 should.
Let alone cross a few time zones and realize how necessary Zulu time (UTC) is.

I've been accused a few times of stolen valor because I have never served a day of my life in any branch of the military and I use 24 hour time every now and then. Wanna know what really fucked with me for a long time? For as long as I can remember I have always had a digital 12 hour clock in my room. Every single one I have owned always had the dot that would appear to symbolize PM. Well, when my Great-Grandma died and we were cleaning out her unit, I kept her digital clock and still use it to this day. However, this one is different in that the dot symbolizes AM and not PM. That shit fucked with my head for so long!

That was quite a few years back and it was a search to actually find one.

What gets me is that anyone uses cyclical time at all. As Aristotle put it, "Time is but the measure of circular motion." The phases of the moon, a the half life of a cesium atom, what have you, but its all manufactured. In the absolute there is no time just the continuum. But no we have to analyze it and have repetition. We had a Christmas why have it again, its just repetition to distract the mind from whats really going on.
