I'm out on the 13th. Escorting rascal #2 to Orlando for a regatta she isn't even going to row in...
It's a novice event that she, as a varsity rower, must attend for moral and team support of the young and inexperienced rowers on the team.
I'd like to think we'll have some nice moments together that we can look back on, years from now. More likely, she'll ditch me like I'm a flea bitten possom as soon as she sees her buddies. I might see her if there are must have hippie rowing T-Shirts for sale!

Sundays are real hard for me as I like to go to church and spend the day chilling with the wife. Saturdays are usually my play day.

REN the "fair weather warrior" bailed. He was doing load testing and a windy day wasn't going to work for him. Good excuse I guess. So I used the day to get caught on my work. Next week early for me.

Ive got 4 new loads that id like to wring out to 500m. One with some RL-17 that ive been trying here and there. Tony.. now that Ive got my thinking cap on we could have went to Desoto... ive got some .223 loads to check out as well.

I didn't make it untill Sunday at 13:00 because of work. What a beautiful day. Some wind to my back but a bright sunny day. Did not see anyone I know, but shot off 80 rounds, constantly changing ranges and targets to fine tune my ranging abilitys. Its possible I might go again next week as well. Going to be Sunday most likely.

It was a beautiful day. the wind was ripping. 18 to 25mph and gusts to 30. Still hit the 1,000 yard gong and 465 spinners.
Maybe next Saturday for me.

Fish , what fish, I just know all the beer is gone, that why we came home, we need more beeeeer .

Our boat got skunked, ran out of booze, had a great time, My friends on a different boat gave use their Sheepsheads so we still came home with lots of fish. Great time. Hope to be there next Saturday or Sunday, but I am behind in my work and have to get caught back up.

It was a nice day. The wind was very shifty though. But I still had a good time breaking clays at 500m. The mirage was terrible except for when the occasional cloud came rolling through.... the nice thing is that the place emptied out around 3ish.

Ok, good to hear there are some folks in FL that shoot long range. I am very new to this board and about just as new to long range shooting. Does anyone here set up meets or shoots? Just curious as I would enjoy shooting with folks that are into the same kind of shooting.

This Saturday they have a 8" 1,000 yd gong match.
There is different 1,000 yard matches there.
It is a great place to shoot long distance. They have a lot of different berms as well as targets you can place anywhere out to 1,000.
Some of us meet up when our work schedules allow. I will try and be there Sunday as I will have company again next weedend.
The problem with a house in Florida and family and friends up north is they keep coming down for a visit.

Tony is sounds like you need to close Hotel TDR down for a while. I closed Casa De Ren down a while ago and made my spare bedroom a hobby room. Now when people want to visit I tell them there are great hotels in the area.
