Re: Suppressor Rules on Moving
I have this same concern and seem to find folks saying fill out a 5320.20 and move. I move around a lot and wouldn't want to get myself in trouble.
Is there a way we can contact the NFA branch and find out for certain ? I wouldn't know how to find my local NFA branch but I imagine an email to the ATF would eventually get me there.
I'd love to hear from someone that had a suppressor in say TN and then after some period of time, moved either locally in the city and then moved to NC or something like that.
Edit:
ATF Contact
"Contact ATF
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives cannot respond to e-mail inquiries relating to technical, policy and/or legal questions. Inquiries of this nature can only be addressed through a letter outlining your questions to the following address:
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives

So I suppose we could try and email them but likely we'd be looking at writing them a letter to ask ?
