Rifle Scopes SWFA - 2 new prototypes?

I read over on the opticstalk forum a brief mention that a well respected optics guru on here and there has 2 proto types in hand for evaluation. Can anyone shed a little more light on what these may be? Fixed or variable power?

Something in between the 3-9 and the 5-20 would be awesome in my book......... (just me wishing).

Well if it does turn out to be something between the 3-9 and the 5-20, let's hope for another group buy.

I too passed on the 5-20....... regretting that decision now.

Yes, a 4-16X would be sweet... I'd definitely be all over that piece of glass.

How about a 1-8x or 1-10x FFP Similar to the 1-4X HD?

spotting scope with new recticle would KICK ASS!or SS scope with horus vision recticle would rock too!

Just curious why you would want a 4-16 over a 5-25? for one less power on the low side and 9 on the high side, seems like the 5-25 wins every time? Again, just curious?

4-16 would do everything that a large portion of shooters need. I to would be in for a GB on a new model. I missed out on the 5-20 and will have some cash to play with here in a month or so. Impatiently waiting on SWFA to chime in on this thread!!!

I think eventually we'll see something like that but not anytime soon.

I'm betting something like their 3-9 with a little more top end and maybe illumination.

Its a 5-20 not 5-25, so it would be 1 on the low and 4 on the high. Unless you are talking about something other than the new 5-20 SS scope.
