Ok here is the next video from the Silencerco Demo Day lineup!

The SWR Specwar 762 rifle suppressor impressed the hell outta me that day! We shot this REM700 all day with M80 ball ammo without ear plugs and my ears never showed the least bit if discomfort. I was truly impressed. We were talking 5 ft from whomever was shooting at the time and carrying on a normal conversation and every time a shot rung out you didn't even register it as a nuisance. I'm VERY excited to get mine in! Now if the ATF would just open back up!

Yeah you shouldn't shoot a suppressed supersonic centerfire rifle without earpro.

It does cause hearing damage.

What did the groups look like?


Wear ear pro.... you are setting yourself up for residual hearing loss. It may sound fine, but constant DB abuse will take your hearing down.

As tested with M80 ball it metered at 137dB. Yes earplugs should be used for a FULL day of shooting due to accumulative hearing damage. A 20rd string over an hr at your favorite spot shouldn't be a huge deal though. The groups did not shift between unsuppressed and suppressed. So no POI change, at least on that gun/barrel/day.

I'm waiting for this same can on a F3 so I'm at least a year out and was happy to get to review it now and handle it. Very nice can.

well damn, just saw it in your vid. did not know. my octane is in atf hell right now. think SWR is doing some good things.
