The trend here seems to view any election that has Trump's name tied to it as rigged and unwinnable, yet people will still pump their fists and scream Trump for 2024, somehow dismissing this belief thinking he will win another election. So explain to me, why, if you so vehemently believe the election was stolen, and will be again going forward if Trump runs, why do you continue to ride his train to nowhere?
If he is legally capable of running again come election time and feels like he doesn't have the support to win the Republican nomination over Desantis, he will turn on the party and run as an independent and basically hand the election over to the Democrats because he will subtract enough voters for Desantis to not matter.
However, if Trump's legal challenges continue and the same people that somehow managed to steal a Presidential election are crafty enough to figure out a way to convict him of something, are you really not going to vote for Desantis?

I've completely soured on Trump, after voting for him twice. I've finally accepted that Trump can't/won't beat Biden, and we'll be stuck with a semi-lucid, Dementia patient for another four years. And this country will never recover from that. Trump will never get more than about 45%-47% of the vote, his living in the past and refusal to move on from 2020 guarantees it. No one gives a shit about the 2020 election anymore, especially independent voters who any Republican needs to win. Plus Trump did jack shit to advance and preserve the 2nd Amendment, just the opposite actually. Why we would take a chance on a guy who has lost once already, when our country is at the brink of no return, makes no sense to me. DeSantis is a proven hardcore conservative, without the baggage and crazy of Trump. People that would never vote for Trump will give DeSantis a chance, and that is the only way we win in 2024.
Agree with this in every way except one. There are plenty of people that still care about the 2020 election. The same people that came out in droves to make sure we didn't clean house in the mid-terms still very much care about 2020 and Jan 6th in particular. Add the Supreme Court overturning Roe vs Wade and the battle is an uphill one for sure for any Republican, let alone a guy hated as much as Trump.

If DeSantis is a loser without Trumps endorsement, then it's highly unlikely he'll take the nomination from Trump and everything will be fine in Ever Trumper Land as DeSantis slinks back to continue being Florida's Governor.

And this will never be "fixed" until that is addressed. And also that is why there is not a politician on the planet that can or will fix it. Even if he is a "good man" and against it, it will be impossible for him to fix it, the machine is too large and its reach too far. He will fail one way or the other if you catch my drift. Kennedy, Nixon, Epstein, any number of the "underlings" we see having their being come to an end, money, power there is nothing one man can do against the machine. And that sweet little clip from Schumer is quite chilling. Listen to the tone of his voice, the expression of his face. Skip the video to where he starts talking and listen to that. What I don't like is how he conducted himself since the election and hasn't done anything to bring the party together, instead we are a divided party of misfits.
Herb Brooks put together a team that gave him the best chance to win, and sent some of the best players in the country home. You are both equally wrong and equally brainwashed. If you weren’t then you would be trying to convince the other to stop believing in the foolosh things I just listed. Government is a criminal organization that rules by terror and force. Always was. Always will be. Nobody that serves it has any moral ground to stand on. Pretend to vote for whichever you choose. The only thing that would make any differ is non compliance to “their” rules, regulations, laws, and authority. Everything else is playing make believe.
