A1J sent this and a couple of other things for me to try, and this is just the bomb. im no foodie, pretty regular type of a person, but this is good salmon.
My back has been out, so, i stay upstairs a little later in the morn, anywho... i get down and my beauty says firstly that she tried this salmon and she really liked it. like, she looked it up to see where we could get it, im impressed she doent like canned, she watches what w eat and canned food shuts her off. today she was hungry and tried them as a snack, did i say she really liked it and you all should try some?
Larry, your a stud, bro, always hookin someone up...
thankyou very much
im going to treat the rest of the canned fish and oysters as treats for us on fridays, stretch it out, one can a friday.
3 cheers to you buddy
Gal at work is turning 29 tomorrow.
We usually do a potluck once a month to celebrate all the birthdays.
I told her I would make her anything she wanted, just say it.
She wanted chili with the following: Ground beef, beans, tomatoes. Then i added a few necessary items and its pretty darn tasty. . House smells good too!

Nice work Geno!
That knife is awesome!!
If you like trying different single malts, give Glendronach a try. Its a favorite of mine.
Summer and fall have been crazy.
Working on building new smokers with a friend, One for me and one for him.
Momma is from TX and brisket may rank above the kids and I in order of importance. Perhaps I shall have a fine brisket knife as such one of these days......
Sons Buck is melt in your mouth tender. Sooo damn good. Just love fresh venison. That Deer will be consumed in less than a month.

Hillbilly your Thanksgiving with cornbread dressing. Your yankee loved ones will be impressed. I usually make two large cakes of bread for a 9x13 dish of dressing.
Prepare cornbread. Many ways to make it; this is one.
Heat oven to between 435 and 450.
Add cornmeal to bowl.
Add small amount self rising flour (about a table spoon per cup of cornmeal).
In smaller bowl, whisk one egg. Add buttermilk and whisk more.
Add a few table spoon veg oil or crisco to iron skillet. Place in oven to heat pan.
Add egg mix to cornmeal.
Pour heated oil from skillet into cornmeal mix. Use paper towel to wipe skillet to make sure surface is coated with oil.
Add buttermilk to mix and combine. Don't overly work the mix. It should be a little on the thick side.
Bake till done. Remove and allow to cool.
Break up cornbread into small pieces/crumbs. I usually use the browned top and dig the soft white bread out leaving the really browned bread touching the skillet. Place bread in large bowl.
Finley chop a med onion and a few stalks celery.
Soften the onion and celery on the stovetop in butter.
Add onion, celery and butter to bread.
Add black pepper and rubbed sage to taste. Don't be bashful with the sage.
Add enough chicken stock to moisten the bread well.
Grease baking dish and fill with dressing.
Bake around 350 till done. Baking time will vary depending on size and moisture of mix. Budget at least 20 min.
Edit: I forgot the chopped boiled eggs! Add about three chopped boiled eggs to the dressing mix before baking.
Cooked sausage can be added to the dressing mix prior to baking if you like.
Remove chaw before eating.
Looks great, what are those things that look like they have a boiled egg in the middle?View attachment 6980251View attachment 6980252View attachment 6980253Had the neighbors over for a bit of a treat. I bought a strip steak roast/loin? And figured I’d try to dry age it for a while. I put it in the fridge the Tuesday before thanksgiving. It turned out pretty good?
Scotch eggsLooks great, what are those things that look like they have a boiled egg in the middle?
Buddy at work just made this train wreck. Avocado, Mayo, Cheese, n Cayenne Sammy. And he's eating it with gusto.

WTF??
Where are the bacon and eggs for that sammie?
Oh, and delete that gelatinous white pasty shit from the planet.
Worried about those testosterone levels ...
Sorry, but I'm pro-mayo. However, the only place Miracle Whip belongs is in a bowl of ham salad.
Alors, Mayonnaise a go go ...
I say nay to both of them.
Had a nice pressed steak sandwich on Cuban with swiss, pickles and mustard for lunch today.
Had to tell the young lady to nix the mayo.
I can eat it if it's already on there, but I'll still scrape it off and try to cover it up.
That's why they make a hot sauce dispensing watch...
Who the fuck puts mayo on cubanos and medianoche? That's a damned crime.
I'm with you brother.
Seems to be a Tampa/Ybor thing.
Lots of places try to put lettuce and tomatoes on them if you aren't latino...
Another ginger Aaron??Didn't take any pics since I was so excited about it but... dinner was smoked polish sausage (venison), sauerkraut, and home made spaetzle. Nom. Will make it again and get pics that time.
@Geno C. - you have great taste and are in my neck of the woods. Next time you're in GB give me a holler and we should share some scotch or grab a beverage.
Semper Fidelis,
Aaron
