Qdogs BBQ Company, Marion Iowa. Live blues, real deal BBQ done on site using Cherry wood. It's stupid good. I enjoy the sampler platter which offers ribs, pulled pork and brisket.

Damn that looks good. The closest thing to an upside on my ex wife from hell was when she'd cook Filipino food. She was almost likeable when she gave me pancit or adobo with lumpia.
 
Had some errands yesterday, but I managed to treat myself to an Indian buffet lunch.

Our Cook that works Sunday's is a good Woman. I call her "Grandma". :p Salt of the Earth kinda people. Love her. Her and her Husband have a pretty big Farm inhabited by many rogue Elk. ;) They get a few damage permits every year. For general seasons it's a family only show. I know, I've tried to weasel my way in but I'm not the Snake Charmer I use to be I guess. :eek: Hell, I'm good with that as long as I get to eat their Elk. :) She definitely puts on a Country Style Brek Brek !!!

I won't even bother to show the baked potato with butter and sour cream, and the creamed spinach.

I ate beef until my ears were wiggling like a heifer's, all of it just a tiny, tiny bit past medium rare.

Tomorrow, sandwiches, and i still have to do something with chunk no. 2.
 
Veer and Bogey, those both look crazy good. It's supposed to cool off here soon and I believe there is an all day brisket in my future.

Thanks buddy, ribs are rarely both photogenic and tasty. I warned my "customers" that night that the ribs would fail mightily at a BBQ competition because they had the nerve to fall off the bone. But that's why I've never entered a BBQ cook off: being fussy about BBQ removes all the soul and hence the point. I've watched a few on TV and want to throw shit at the screen seeing guys act like French pastry chefs about meat over a fire.
 
I wondered that very same thing.

lol All of us hit yard sales from time to time to pick up utensils n plates periodically for the CO's to use instead of eating off the alternative meal ware. You couldn't pay me enough to eat off one of these trays or put one of those sporks in my mouth. You wouldn't either knowing what I know. But, but, they're sterilized right? Which reminds me of a joke. If I wash my dick would ya suck it? No? Well ya dirty cocksucker. ;)

Its what’s for supper.

I sort of did that last night (again). The back half of my two-parter ribeye roast that the missus got the meatcutter to hack in half. all 2.5X lbs. of chunk № 2. It came out better last night, closer to rare than medium. I had leftover ribeye sliced, on English muffins, with chipotle aioli and smoked gouda cheese slices for lunch. Oh, the agony. :rolleyes: Dinner was 5 Guys. Probably more sammiches mañana.
 
Gawd Damn You. And I mean that. Son uhf a Bitch that's gonna be good. Enjoy man and follow up with some cook'n it pics and finished product if ya would. So hate you ..........

1J, 5 of those stuffed olives, juice from the jar and chilled vodka right now. I've gone through 3 jars of those things and still loving them.
