The ATF has no problem issuing illegal orders to citizens but when it comes to them following a legal order that's another.

pompeo claims there is nothing in them except the names of some people that might still be alive that have nothing to do with actually killing jfk, but said they might have worked overseas or something at the time.

Trump released some of the JFK files in his first term but withheld the remainder on concerns of national security.
Biden released more in 2021 and more in 2022.
Now Trump is releasing more but, again, not all of them.
Ever get the feeling we are being used by each party? Give them something to cheer about, but not all. The next guy for the other side gives them something to cheer about, but not all.
Then the guy from the first side is re-elected again and now is releasing more but not all.

i think that is what has made people so curious, and why they might have assumed these were deep dark secrets.
if they are protecting some people that were 20-something at the time (meaning they might be alive in their 80s), they could have simply released those documents with only the names redacted, and let everyone know that the person's name is redacted for that reason.
if the documents don't reveal that the commission report was a coverup, than it is just going to prove we will never be told the truth,
not to overshadow that could be in the rfk or mlk files...

I'd like to see all of then fired except for the single one who made whatever decision sped up most Form 4 application approval times. Promote that person.
I'll give you that- I'd personally like to see their resume/CV and know where they came from first (but that's just me)
The last few times I have called I was actually transferred to the inspector working on my application. THAT never happened before. The end of December, I received a call FROM the inspector informing me the application was approved. THAT never happened before. All for it.
don't know if true, but it would be past time to do that.
