Trump is back…the “Now What” thread

Why do you say it has nothing to do with OPEC increasing production? It has everything to do with that - 400,000 barrels a day increase, implemented way ahead of plan. OPEC wants oil too cheap for US producers to drill, baby, drill. OPEC will cut back supply again once another Democrat is in the White House.

What is our tarrif on OPEC's oil?

Maybe we could subsidise domestic production, our guys could use the work.

It is all a cesspool of smoke, mirrors and lies.

If i may, As far as I am aware there are exceptions on Tariffs in oil and gas sector. Canada and mexico, which make up over 80% of US imports of oil, with OPEC as well. Saudi being 7% and Iraq being 4%.

Meaning there are none.

Trump's tariffs seem like a fair idea. a gamble FS but something needs to be tried. if they help, won't be fast. will raise prices i am sure. the fault for that will not really be Trump's or tariffs. he inherited the problem which started in the 50s and has been fed by stupidity, greed and short sightedness for a long time. inflation that he didn't have anything to do with has the same origin. we will be stuck with the bill but the future of younger gens is a real prob. that can shouldn't just continue getting kicked down the road. take a look at those who are doing the most whining about them. that tells it's own story.

to bad we have to take their word for it, but i think they are telling the truth,

How do you know it’s a hostile foreign army? Because TdA terrorists are supported by 300 military intelligence officers who train them to engage in “riots, sabotage, disinformation, espionage, social conflict, and armed aggression” inside the USA.

“So you know, this is a conversation that took place almost two years ago,” Hill said in a private transcribed interview. “But the Philadelphia office said, ‘Well, there’s no evidence of any kind of, you know, violent leanings or insurrectionist leanings,’ to which Steve Jensen said, ‘You know, I don’t give a blank, they’re godd***ed terrorists and we’re going to round them all up.’”

I am going to go out on a limb and make a prediction about China.

Just like Reagan masterminded the downfall of the Soviet Union by us outspending them, I can see something akin to that with China.

We won't be outspending them but they will lose in the Tariff war. It doesn't matter whether they make a deal with the USA or not. If they make a deal for fair trade, they lose.

They lose because, their MIC relies so much on cheap/slave labor. That's not the most efficient labor but it's cheap. In order to compete with us, they will have to lower the wages or standard of living of their citizens even more. They will need more slaves.

In order to keep the slaves in check, they will institute more draconian measures and harsher punishments to keep people in line.

Heck, just feeding them will be a problem. Food rations will be instituted. Rations on other commodities will bring their low standard of living down even more.

Either the people, the CCP or both will reach a breaking point. Then we could see a rebellion. A deal between us and China would be good for us but not the CCP.

If Xi Ping refuses to make a deal and tariffs continue to rise, it will be only with China. The rest of the world, and us, will be doing great under fair trade agreements. Notice that I said "fair" trade and not "free" trade. Chose your terms carefully when debating someone on these tariffs.

China will be all alone in the trade war with us. In order for them to win against us they will have to increase their commerce with other countries. Yet they will not succeed with that either. In order for the CCP to make money to fight the US-China trade war they will have to increase tariffs on their other trading partners.

That will not work out well for them. The other countries will see this and resent the fact that they had to come to agreeable terms with Trump but not China. They will resent the fact that the CCP will try to finance their trade war off the backs of their trading partners.

In the developing countries where China is playing nice (for the moment) they will have to demand some sort of compensation for building up the infrastructures of those countries. They will tell them, "We gave you all this stuff for free and now it's time to help us."

Those developing countries won't like that either and will want China out of their homeland. I can see some armed conflict taking place in various hot spots because of this and will cost China dearly.

All of this could spell doom for Xi Ping. The CCP might get pissed at him for not making a deal with Trump. If he's not doing it already, he will be sleeping in different beds every night and having taste testers sample his meals.

Am I wrong?

The absolute #1 tell highlighting this as a nonsense exercise, a delay tactic on behalf of the swamp, is the venue for Tulsi Gabbard’s “new task force” announcement, Sean Hannity.

In order to pass DC approvals for confirmation, Gabbard had to join the ‘FISA is awesome’ club. Now, she aligns her DNI silo with the foolishness of the Sean Hannity ‘tick-tock’ club. Sorry, but we’ve seen this performance so many times it is now blood boiling to watch them try and repeat it.

HHS Secretary RFK Jr. Says by September We Will Know What Causes Autism Epidemic in the US

“We are going to know by September,” RFK Jr. confidently announced. We’ve launched a massive testing and research effort that’s going to involve hundreds of scientists from around the world. By September, we will know what has caused the autism epidemic, and we’ll be able to eliminate those exposures.

The memos confirm Halper was the source of one of the most sensational bogus claims to land in the FBI's probe in summer 2016: that Flynn had left a 2014 foreign meeting alone with Russia scholar Svetlana Lokhova when he was a three-star general leading the Defense Intelligence Agency.
FBI agents ultimately deemed Halper's account to be "not plausible" and "not accurate", but the bureau proceeded to investigate Flynn, kept paying Halper and continued to vouch for his veracity as a confidential human source codenamed "Mitch," the memos show.

we aren't privy to what is really going on inside. but i do wonder what Patel is really doing. seems to me about 80% of FBI agents should be fired and most of those put in prison. have thought that long time.

The newly-released Rogers interview with the Mueller team shows that the then-NSA director was read a quote from The Washington Post article — that “President Trump urged [Rogers] to publicly deny the existence of any evidence of collusion during the 2016 election” — with the FBI notes stating that “Rogers responded that the media characterization was wrong, and the President had asked about the existence of SIGINT [signals intelligence] evidence only.”

The FBI transcript of his interview is worth reading in and of itself.

All of these transcripts are worth reading as well
