Forty years ago, new American immigrants came to a country where bipartisan leaders delivered a simple message: this great country is now your own, and you have a duty to help build it. Today, those same leaders deliver a different message: this is an evil and racist country, and you owe nothing to it. Because of this, our capacity to assimilate the next generation of immigrants is limited, and our legal immigration system should account for this fact by changing who we let in and reducing the total numbers.

One thing Vance is involved in is a Peter Theil led "New Right" movement that is ideologically incoherent and elitist but not in a good way.
It involves New York, Washington, and California based people and is heavily jewish. Thiel is a homosexual technocrat who gave ten million dollars to support J D Vance.
You also have people like Curis Yarvin who is jewish and wrote a lot of rubbish and calls the liberal establishment "The Cathedral" when of course it should be called "The Synagogue". There's also Amanda Milius (jewish), Honor Levy (jewish), J D Vance (loves jews and Israel).
Whike they may not be the greatest fans of blacks they like Chinese and Indians.
Some of the ideas of people like Blake Masters sound superficially OK, such as a dislike of neo-liberal capitalism and the fact there is too much legal immigration.

Been doing more research on this guy and I am mixed for sure.

He seems more like a 70s Democrat than anything. Raised by Kentucky coal miners who voted Union Blue and has a bunch of white trash in his family and escaped like a lot of us did to the military.

He was a Public Affairs weenie in the USMC attached to a Marine Aviation unit. He went to Iraq long enough to realize they weren't the enemy and left. And of course is a never Trumper back in 16

He only came into politics on his own in 22 backed by Thiel but idk he is pro union, he's anti trust. He is wishy washy on Ukraine, he got a decent chunk of change from AIPAC and like a typical heterodox post modern Christian (though he's baptized Catholic in 19) believes Israel is some land we need to protect even though God doesn't live on Earth and Israel was part of Syria for 1000 years or more even with a Roman rulership...

So, some of it I like, he isn't as aggressively anti Neocon as id like. He thinks our foreign policy blunders started with Reagan when really it started in the 1890s and onward.

I do like he is pro competition as it relates to the regular mom and pop and average Joe, which is surprising given his VC background, but he's not a Teddy Roosevelt. He is not a huge China hawk or Iran guy, though, he is a huge Pro Israel dude as I said and that makes you a middle Eastern interventionalist by default in my eyes

I don't think this hurts Trump any more than what he has to deal with. Someone else and other more trained groups will be emboldened to attack him again. There is still the legislative branch to contend with and the unionized, administrative state and on top of that all of the various lobbies chief of which is AIPAC, and the defense contractors, who all want endless war...

This time Trump was afforded the chance to pick who he really wanted.

His assets fit well with Trumps deficiencies. He’s young Smart as hell and a Bulldog. Only his actions will reveal the truth, but I’ve had my eye on him for a bit & like what I’ve seen.

With his background, if he backs up his statements with actions. The conservative tent stands a chance at remaining enlarged beyond just this election cycle. That’s exactly what we need if we want to unfuck things.

China is an economic threat, not a military threat. They have never been a conquering nation. Their economy is unstable. Their infrastructure is unstable. Their people are barbarians based on all the footage of daily life there I've watched over the years.

I would argue that the solution to China is simple. But as simple as it is, it would also be extremely expensive, cause a lot of pain/headache and take a significant amount of time to implement.

Redirecting all manufacturing and resource procuration to other sources would/will be all the things I said above. But its the simple solution and results in China being left in economic ruin. There's too many products and industries that everyone globally depends on China for. Other than completely redirecting away from using them in any capacity I have heard no real solutions to China.

Just stop using them in any capacity. It's that simple. But it's expensive.

i asked in another post, i dont know american politics, dont even fully understand bs politics over here, if trump later thinks he made a mistake with vp pick, whats the procedure he'd go through to get rid of him and install another vp?

good question. don't know once both are sworn in. i would guess that it must be through an impeachment process which would require some criminal accusation. usual would just be dump them before a 2nd run but not the case here as trump can only be in 4 years as he has already been in 4.
