Not sure which action you have, but in the Gen 1, as long as the magazine was inserted, you'll never feel the ejector. A long time ago, we did receive ejectors that were a tad too tall, and a few swipes with a #2 file to remove .01" to .015" resolved any contact issues. For the masses: This is no longer the case, so please don't call the shop and tell them I said your ejector needs to be replaced or repaired.

If you have a Gen 2, I'd be incredibly surprised if you're having this issue, but in the event you are, the fix is the same....a few swipes with a #2 file on the very top of the ejector, the file should not touch anywhere else on the ejector.

More data. Did the Kraft 12 shot 4 position drill at 100yds with vudoo and sk+. I was extremely fortunate all 12 maintained good enough velocity.

Then I shot 88rnds off bipod/bag at 100yds. All but those bottom 6 stayed inside 1.3moa. So not awful for mid grade ammo.

That's crazy. Your 12 shot group across 4 positions is what I can get in prone. Pretty crazy that you basically have only a .5moa, if that, wobble across all your positions... 22 rimfire target sizes are always at least 2-3 moa when not in prone, which means you must be cleaning up almost everything. Impressive.

In the matches we have here, there’s a couple of use who hover around the top. Normal day is 1-3 dropped shots in about 70-80 depending on CoF. Last week I dropped 6 (3 on a mover @155yds) and winner dropped 5 out of 82 possible.

In a competition setting, Rimfire is easier to get stable as you don’t have to engage the rifle as much to manage recoil to see shots like you do in centerfire. Obviously in a perfect world, you drive them the exact same. But in a match, you’ll use every advantage.

Also, with the weight of the rifles we shoot now + sand bangs like fortune cookies and gamechangers, on a stable prop like a steel barricade, IMO the goal is about .1 of visible wobble.

FWIW I have a 20” MTU on a AIAX chassis with a ZCO and it balances almost perfect in front of the mag well. I think it’s perfect.

20 is probably perfect for the majority of chassis options out there. Worst case, you add weights where needed, but it’ll be far less weights needed than using a different barrel.

Also, make sure if going for a neutral balance point, you are balancing it on a bag, not just a flat surface under the chassis.

With a bag, you need the balance point to be 3-5” in front of the magwell. Otherwise it will be rear heavy once you sit the rifle on a bag.

Powder burn is over around 16”

Velocity doesn’t usually slow down until after 22” which is why vudoo offers 22” without special order.

I use a modified “track-bush” method. I will track the target so I always know where it is, then jump ahead and ambush. I always break on center target and never on the lead edge. But I am never moving when I actually break the shot as if you track, you have to keep tracking through the shot. For me, that’s too much to think about snd too much moving for me to see the shot impact.

Always keeping the target in my FOV and behind my reticle allows me to decide if I want to engage faster. Some matches only allow so many passes on a mover instead of time. So you never want to lose sight of it and want to get shots off as fast as you can properly execute the fundamentals of marksmanship.

So that's 20" MTU plus weight kit. Exactly what I'm looking for from a balance perspective. Has anyone achieved that level of balance with a Kukri and a weight kit? I have the A419 ARCA rail and I believe they make a weighted version. Maybe I'll try that first. I will experiment with some weights first before I do it to see what may be possible.

Wolf Extra Match was delivered last night and I had the day off today so I figured i'd go out to the range and try my luck. Today was really windy, with speeds ranging from 5-10 mph so the 100 yard targets aren't so pretty. Maybe i'll go to an indoor range tomorrow and try my luck.

Didn't bring home my cold bore target cause it was a sticky, so I used a free app (SubMOA) to get my group.
This was with Wolf Extra Match, I didn't notice any cold bore flier. This was my first group of the day @ 50 yards.

Next up Wolf Extra Match vs. Eley Contact. The Wolf cost me .08 a round while the contact was .04 a round.

Next up was 40 gr CCI minimag and 45gr American Eagle Suppressor. Both are copper plated. The 45 gr AE did so bad I didn't even try shooting more than 1 5 round group with it. Below I shot a 10 round group with Lapua Center X.

This was at 100 yards. Real messy target. The wind wasn't all to blame, I just wasn't shooting all that well today. Shot two 5 round groups at 100 and then 1 ten round group. I did an extra 10 round group of wolf to see if I could tighten up my group at all.
CCI I managed to get only 1 4 group on paper, this round really fell apart at 100 yards + wind. Did not attempt to shoot the AE 45gr at this range.

I have a limited supply of Lapua center x so I shot 1 five round group and 1 ten round group. I have seen this rifle and ammo combo do much better in this rifle. This is definitely shooter error + wind involved.

Over-all it was a lot of fun. While I don't think the Wolf EM is worth double the price of Eley Contact, it was available and I managed to snag 3000 rounds of it. For me it's plenty accurate for practice and will work for competition when I can't get Center-X.

That’s shouldered. It’s my centerfire. I get about 2mils of vertical movement.

Got my Vudoo put together today and checked to make sure it fed correctly. Everything looked good so I went ahead and bedded the barreled action, have to bed the bottom metal tomorrow since it looks like the stock was inletted too deep. Just put a jewell trigger I had in the drawer temporarily until the other trigger shows up.

The KSS ATS tuner and the brake add a good .75lbs to the front which really helps with the balance. That bipod is also 1.5lbs. Surprised it balanced so well like that at only 17.6lbs, I was expecting more of 18.5ish with the bipod/brake/tuner.

Without the bipod it wants to fall back ever so slightly. I'm sure if i manipulate it enough it will balance without the bipod. I too was expecting more weight closer to the 19lb range but that's not what the scale showed. Also want to mention that 17.6lb number included a loaded 15 round aluminum mag so that's its highest weight, will be slightly less with the 10 rd polymer mags

Dave what camera system did you get to work with the ZCO, I have tried 2 with no success.
