Watching the Dog and Pony Show

Every liberal news source and democrat leader told us what it's about from the very beginning.
They're afraid a conservative SCOTUS will repeal Roe v Wade.
Once again dems are terrified they'll have to take responsibility for their own lives.

What if the Republicans just simply put a line under it and said if you want to go murder your unborn babies, we won't stop you... go right ahead... hopefully that means less communists being bred and you can be a self eliminating group...
Just promise firmly that you will never touch Roe v. Wade and you openly support the right of evil Communists to murder their own unborn Communist offspring... Oh and by all means, please continue having non reproductive sexual activity... the less of you the better...
Communist parents often raise Communist leaning children... why take the chance, let them eliminate themselves....
In fact we'll even pay to give you free contraception and birth control... just to get rid of you quicker....

It would be fun to see the Communists trying to do a song and dance around that... but no... you can't support our "right to 'choose' to kill the unborn"..... that is so unfair....

Just imagine the fun and popcorn that could be had if a conservative supreme court nominee did that and promised to keep Abortion legal and as much birth control & contraception as they wanted.... specifically so there would be less of the Communists in the long run...

McCarthy was right; he was just such a pompous, knee jerking twit that his antics allowed the Left to shut down the very valid interest in Unamerican actvities that was going on right beneath our collective noses then, and is still going strong as we speak.

The American Communist Revolution began that hypocritical day when he was pummeled into obscurity by the Left's favorite sarcastic running dogs in the press.

Reckoning day is coming to pass, and soon, I hope.

Took a while to figure out, you offering yours?

@vh20 That is a good point about what @Alphatreedog stated about over regulation. What I should have specifically mentioned was the repeal of the stream protection rule which reduced/prevented coal runoff into our waterways. This was repealed to save coal jobs by reducing clean up costs. It was mainly pushed by Republicans catering to their specific (coal workers amd corps) voting block. It did not take into account how it will affect that region as a whole and disregarded everyone else.

@W54/XM-388 You're getting it with Roe V Wade. I think there's a happy middle ground with abortion. The loud majority remain ignorant (not maliciously so) on how babies are actually developed so we can't have a logical debate about this. But I think most people are starting to realize the evidence behind contraceptive use lowering abortion rates. So if you want less abortions, promote more contraceptive use. You can't stop people from having sex.

Cory's on 17 minutes now, and demanding to finish his ramble, acknowledging that Grassley is the chairman, but still pushing politely for the whole of everybody else's time.

Or perhaps also teach the young that you could have lots of sex but just don't stick the reproductive plug into the correct reproductive receptacle...
Even the Christian "Virgins till marriage" are starting to understand the loopholes..........

I think part of the reason the unwanted teen pregnancy rates are starting to go down a fair bit from their historic peaks is that more teens (even those with religious parents trying to keep them ignorant) are starting to understand exactly how reproduction works and the young women are a bit more assertive and understanding of how they and their partner could have fun without getting pregnant..

I'm really confused about this reply but this sounds like a fun thing to delve into.
Are you promoting anal and oral sex over normal sex to prevent pregnancy?

And to women being more assertive that is spot on. But it's not with more anal or BJs. It's by using more condoms and birth control. Getting regular check ups with your doc, tracking your period, and all that.

He is the type that will claim he was just following orders right up til the chair is kicked out from under his feet by a patriot.

The clue phone is ringing. Will you pick it up?

I can tell you personally about the Clean Waters Act that was just repealed. It was regulation, not legislation, straight from the EPA without any vote or representation whatsoever. It made every mud puddle on every (including my) farm suddenly under Federal jurisdiction and gave them the authority to arbitrarily come and shut down anything they wanted for no reason and with essentially no recourse. It did NOTHING to protect the environment. It simply gave the EPA complete control over almost any private property. It was a straight-up, not-even-disguised power grab to "solve" a problem that didn't exist.

I don't think he got the reaction he wanted from walking out.

Grassley is a strange cat for sure, but this shit has gone on long enough. Battles lines are clearly firmed up, let's get on with it.

If they defeat BK in the full Senate the next nominee should be outrageously right, hardcore "nothing but the constitution" nominee. I don't think the left is taking the Senate and probably not the house, but this kind of shit hopefully will get peoples asses to the polls to seal the demise of a left takeover. If not, and we stay home we bring the shit on ourselves.

Abortion is an individual issue.

I just dont think it should be publicly funded nor should Planned Parenthood be a publicly funded wing of the Dem Party.

I dont think except for in a few abusive cases people treat abortion as their primary means of birth control.

In those cases where it seems to be just that mom and dad are neutered after that is established.

Since when is Flake senate Majority leader?

Take the confirmation hearing vote today.

Vote Monday in full senate.

F is alphebetically before M.

Tell Flake if he votes no he will never work in Washington as a lobbyist. Its the only reason they run for office so take his future gravy away.

If "F" Flake votes no pressure will be on "M" Manchin and he will vote yes.

Manchin doesnt believe in anything but having his ass warm a senate seat.

The Republicans can only lose one vote. Anymore and it is over. We all know that.

On one hand, I don't want this being held hostage any longer but I do believe if it is held on Monday, it will be over for Kavanaugh. There are many rats on the Republican side.

On the other hand, I don't believe that one week will be really one week. Any delay will be met with further delays and we all know where that will end up

What say the rest of you

The All Knowing Carnac predicts another half dozen unsubstantiated and unprovable allegations. One smear per day is about what I expect out of the left. They have a bench hundreds of thousands deep of fanatics who won't hesitate to destroy the best of us to protect the legal slaughter of the unborn. That's the way it is.
Flake is a retard who is being used by very bad actors pretending to be his "friend".

What is there really to "think about or investigate"? Nothing will come out either way, nothing will become more clear. No one will admit lying. He is just postering for the libs prior to stabbing us in the back. A true McCain disciple. If Kavanagh gets on the SC, he will be a confirmed conservative with a hate for liberal shananagins.

An FBI vote is a stall tactic and provably so.

The dems have the greatest tool ever invented for uncovering (or creating) wrongdoing by conservatives... the mainstream media.
CNN, MSNBC, New York Times, Washinton Post and countless other lesser known news outlets know any verifiable dirt on Kavanaugh would be news on the level of Watergate. Pulitzer prize, fame, glory, personal wealth, a hero to the left, petsonal speaking tours, book deals, and a career for life are the rewards for whoever finds it.

They have more than enough motivation, so where is the evidence?

Agreed.

There are three possible R traitors.

All need to be told they will never have access at any Republican process again if they vote no.

The Supreme Court was the only reason for voting in 2016. I have to think this treason screws their voters.

One Republican votes no the pressure is on the way more vulnerable democrats up for election. They will have to vote yes.

If a second republican votes no that will give cover to the vulnerable dems and they can safely vote no as per usual blaming the republicans.

#resistance isnt only for communists appears its alive and well in the republican party.

Flake fucked him. He fucked all of us. Meeting behind closed doors with evilcrats what limp dick rino. He won’t survive a week of shitbag protesters shouting at them and neither will the rino cunts. They’ll all vote no regardless of what the feds turn up, which we all know will be nothing.

As an aside, I’m pro abortion. Not pro choice mind you and there’s a distinction. It’s absolutely murder — anyone with even a rudimentary knowledge of reproductive biology knows that after fertilization and cell division you have a new organism that is genetically human and genetically distinct from either parent. Killing it has a name in the English language: homicide. When the act is premeditated it becomes 1st degree murder.

But fuck it. Do we really want the genes in the pool of someone who would murder their own offspring? Do we want them raising children? Do we want to pay for their children? No to all questions for me.

So I think abortion is great. I’m willing to pay for it with one caveat: it comes with sterilization. If your so cavalier about murder that you kill your own because it’s convenient then you are done. You’ve lost your reproductive rights just like a murderer loses his 2A rights. And maybe a facial brand, too. And I mean for both parties involved if they’re both complicit.

Just like a trained parrot . You're actually hilarious . The coal industry is one of the most over regulated industries in the Country . Very clean , very conscious and heavily regulated . The fuel combustion is a mix of fuel oil and coal sprayed into a pilot at absurd pressure creating an incredibly efficient absurdly high BTU combustion . The exhaust goes thru an acid scrubber which also remove particulate as well as going thru a catylitic process to cook off any residual green house gases .
Todays coal combustion process is by some estimates 88 to 92 percent as clean as natural gas . If natural gas employed the sam catylitic which it doesn't therefore Department of Energy study is skewed . Furthermore the minig trailings , run off and erosion standards are impecable . Again please bring facts or don't. I'm actually enjoying your lack of knowledge on pretty much any given subject . Don't take this wrong but you're not good at this . Actually I think it a safe and proven conclusion that you're probably not good at anything . At least you have your participation trophies .

How about the EPA being regulated out of existence for the rivers it pollutes?

Or Democratic governments being concerned about water quality?
