With the big interest in .308 ARs now...we need a link for load data designated only for semi .308s....instead of looking thru 20 pages of loads for boltguns.
Please post yours!!

Mine

18" Noveske N6

175SMKs
44.4gr. of RE15
win brass
BR2 primers
2.810 OAL
2540fps at 65deg.

43.7 grs. of RE15 works great too but only at 2440fps

Occasional ejector swipes on the brass...otherwise no problems or pressure signs

Re: We need a data thread for Semis

20" Krieger barreled LR308

175gr Nosler Custom Competition
43.3 gr RL-15
Winchester brass
CCI BR2 primer
2.227" COAL (ogive)
2,541 fps average

155gr Nosler Custom Comp J4
45.2 gr RL-15
Winchester brass
CCI BR2 primer
2.218" COAL (ogive)
2,668 fps average

The 155 grain load is my baseline, and shoots great in hot or cold, old brass or new brass, different primers, whatever. I've shot it for almost two years now, and it averages .8 of an inch with newish brass, and a smidgen over an inch with tired brass/different primers. It's a bit slow for a long range round, but Shooter for Droid says it will stay super sonic out to 1075 yards, if I ever get to shoot that far.

Re: We need a data thread for Semis

I know you're starting this on semi-308's, and this is a great idea. I think it should be extended to the .308 AR platforms since there's a lot of guys with gasser 243, 260, 7-08, 308, etc. If a mod or CST doesn't agree with me feel free to move it, no harm. Great idea on the thread, CST.

LR-260 upper, 24" SS match 8.5tw barrel

Win 243 brass, prepped up
CCI 200's
H4350 42.5gr
140 Amax, seated to 2.800" OAL
MV = 2825fps avg.

Shoots in the .6-.7 range consistently. Brass life is great, this load isn't the hottest it can go but it's working well enough that I feel no need to beat on the rifle for a few fps.

Win 243 brass, prepped up
CCI 200's
H4350 45.4gr
123 Amax, seated to 2.800" OAL
MV = 2940fps avg.

This load shoots in the 0.5's-0.6's and is an absolutely fantastic shooter for ranges inside 1000yd. The 123 isn't the best on BC but it's still an excellent bullet from my experience.

This load is pretty hot for a gasser though, work into it for sure. I'm tempted to back the load back a few tenths to the 44.9gr node, the brass lasts longer then.
