Maggie’s What's Your View II

Field of fire is most important when defending a fixed position. Chimney 360 view works as long as shingles don't become involved.

Hi,

LOLOL, beings I took that picture and not pulled from the interwebs....I am pretty sure on how it works :)

Sincerely,
Theis

My view from behind the spotter this morning. Good friend running his 260 at 1045 yards. A bit of a tough wind from 7-8 o’clock at 7-10 mph. Damp, raw wind too blowing right up our skirt. And yes, I know his left leg is wonky fundamentally, but it’s 2” shorter than the other and full of steel rods and pins, and is not very flexible (bus vs motorcycle).

How many bullet skips have hit that grain bin? Lol

None to my knowledge ?. There is actually a grass berm down there to catch the strays. Railroad grade in its previous life. Good luck picking up any splash though in the event of a miss.
We have a range at my work and I let some guys my buddy knew come over and shoot. The one guy was standing about 20 yards to the right of the shooting bench blasting offhand at the 200 yard target with his SBR. We didn't think much of it, but later on my buddy went down and discovered a bunch of holes on an aluminum bulkhead. Your picture made me think of that.

Damn I wish I could do that....

? That’s too bad. One thing I’m adamant about is, do we have the CORRECT come up on the gun before turning one loose. It helps preventing what you described above.

We have 2 lakes in town across the road from each other. One shallow, one kind of deep. Shallow one has 4-5” and the deep one has no ice.
This gun season while I was out hunting, my dog walked out on our pond and my 5 year old son followed him out. My wife looked out and caught him. That could have been very bad.

Hi,

Holy shit Geno....I feel your pain!! A few years ago I had to have eye surgery every other day for 2 weeks for Docs to remove metal splinter shavings out of my eyes.
They would peel back the first layer, remove what they could remove then the eye internal pressure would push more to the surface...repeat process.

Hope Jamie had some Opticane to put in your eyes at least!

Sincerely,
Theis

This isn’t my first rodeo with embedded metal. Most likely not my last either. Glasses only postpone the inevitable. Mine have never been multiple trips though. Always a piece of hot metal either melting to the lid or eye itself.

No numbing for me at home... when they get this bad they have to at the dr though.

Perfect opportunity to add some "props" to Bernie.'
Might I suggest a free shit money tree, only grows billion dollars bills.
