The client parks their trucks staggered on each side of the gate so even if you got the gate open, you couldn’t pull anything out.

Not a problem if you drop the drive shaft on one of the trucks and push it out of the way? Take inventory for both sales and service.......nothing missing. Dry run? ?Of course I just happen to have guys repairing and upgrading the gates yesterday and today????

I’ve used that driveshaft trick a couple times for pranks....

Yesterday afternoon Mr. Dell at the power company decided he'd take an early retirement from his assigned desk in the dispatch center.
Midnight at our house Mr. Dell was on the operating table being brought back to life.
3:00 am back at the power company, Mr. Dell is put back where he belongs well ahead of the impending snowstorm.

The glamorous life of being married to a Sys Admin from the electric company!

But seriously, to every first responder, every highway worker, and to every provider of care, comfort, and safety - those who never get excited about a "Snow Day" - THANK YOU!

Frick'n Thieves !!!!! Only thing better than catching them on site and administering sufficient consequence, would be to take said consequence to them in their little Castle. You know, a twofer. Destroy them and their shit. Even better, make them destroy their shit. I really dislike thieves. Glad they didn't hit you hard my friend.

We haven't had a good snow like that in a while.

I would like a foot, just so I can fire up the new snowblower and show off for momma. She will be impressed and rub my back.

Mrs Tucker will give you a back rub and pour you a drink right Tucker?

May as well, all my hunting is done, so now its time to ski!

Be safe all you in that big storm, looks like prime conditions for idiots to strike

I did a bit of tree work for the little local church close to us a couple of weeks ago (see the Firewood thread for a brief description). I’m an ornery ol’ prick that just keeps to myself and goes about my business quietly. I received this nice card in the mail yesterday, and I actually enjoyed it. I was glad to help out, and I never ask for more than a smile and a thank you. Safe bet is nearly all that signed are 65+ years in age. I don’t know that I’ve ever been “blessed” before for much, but I’ll take it. Probably best that these folks don’t know my past transgressions.

Yesterday ended late, with me plowing the driveway after it finally stopped snowing hard. It was still sleeting and some freezing rain, but nothing unbreakable for the properly outfitted.
This morning was about getting Mrs. T to her place of work safely and on time. Then it was time to head 30 miles in the other direction to check on my people. Dad's house first and broke tracks up and down his driveway and cleared a couple of paths for him to get around outside as needed.
Then it was on her parents' place to help her dad clear a couple of walks and paths.

Neighbor called and asked if I could give him a lift to the grocery store to get some juice and apple sauce for Caroline, one of the twins with cerebral palsy. Can't say no to that.
Got back to his house and the two younger twins begged go for a ride on the ATV, and bribed me with priceless works of art. Cant' say no to that either.

Thats a beautiful money pit.
After working in aviation in AK a bit, I really love small airplanes.
Especially flying in one someone else owns....

And Tucker, thats some darn fine art you have there. My office is decorated with that kind of art. Priceless.
Those girls are just adorable.
And that video of Leah opening cards made me smile.

It certainly is a money pit for sure. I picked up Ty from school today in it just for fun. If you’re ever up my way, I’ll take you for a ride in it and do my best not to scare the living shit out of you. It’s a lot different from daily driver.

One of the guys I worked with in AK spent 8 months a year as a stunt flying instructor in CA.
I always just giggled and whooped when we went up and had fun doing crazy things with no customers on board. Im probably a tad less crazy being an old dad and all, and I say give it your best shot!

Hard to make it that far east once at my folks and one day I will, so we can shoot, fly, and drink a cold one. Or three..... ?

I always post the same old view of the rifles on the deck after shooting. A different perspective today after I finished. It shows how far I walk to shoot. That slider leads into the kitchen. It’s nice when it gets super cold as you can just step inside to warm up frozen fingers. I’m spoiled rotten.

But, you spoiled you rotten, right ? You worked hard for it. Not really spoiled in my book. (y)(y)(y)

That’s true. We’re self made middle class ?.
I was afraid Tucker would give me a home maintenance scolding for not getting the deck treated this fall. I promise it will be done in the spring.
