Luckily I’m headed south. Freeway opened up now. I live in an area the I get pissed if I have to wait 5 minutes at a light to turn to work. Kinda glad I live in the sticks.

Nope I don’t go that far. I’m 3 hours from Portland and 2.5-3 from Seattle. Kinda in the middle on the coast.
Hope that traffic is better in Feb-March when we are in that area...

It was here longer than we're accustomed to. Most of it left the last day or so, when the warm rains came.
We're in muck mode now.
This company was on the news. They bought all of there employees guns and a firearms training class for a Christmas bonus or something to that effect. Really cool, and I will be supporting them.
It is never good traffics. The traffic is like that all the time. I5 north just the other day had a wreck 14 mile back up.

In the early nineties, I worked for a company that built motor drives for a lot of different industries, including forest products/sawmills. There is an annual tradeshow in Portland called the "Sawmill Show". I had worked the show and was driving from Portland back up to Bellevue on I-5. Three different multiple fatality accidents, each about 40 miles apart. A 3'ish hour drive became a 7+ hour drive that day. Have changed employers since then. I fly to/from Seattle/Portland these days. Traffic is so bad in Seattle, Portland traffic doesn't look quite so shitty anymore.

Ugh! A confounded nightmare! I got some ceiling texture on the armoire...wife had a shit fit till I showed her it'd come right off with damp rag.
Yeah, I'm glad this project is finito.
And The Boss says I should take a long break before I start on kitchen. Maybe after I get my new knee.
That stuff is called Allure. Me and wife put that floor down in 14x14 room in about 2 hours. The stuff is dead easy, affordable, and tough as woodpecker lips.
That living room floor was done over a year ago.

We had a great reason to celebrate today so we cooked some Cornish hens over a wood fire then sat around telling lies and just feeling a happy glow. I'm not a pyro, except when I'm lying, but Jezus, fires are some wild shit.
