Our crew is busy this time of year picking up dead critters. Don’t know why they hang out on the highway.

I know, it's crazy! It's a big world out there but no, let's all hang on/near the highway! Toopid. 5 Herd and prolly 15 deer last night on way home. They're like bugs right now.

@tnichols

Hope that little plate wasnt yours. My 7 yr old would crush that and have seconds...... ?

Looks good. Darn good.

Im about to get crackin on my new smoker build in a few weeks.
Gotta put the siding on my brothers house first.
He had 1 side 3/4 done and shattered his calcaneus (heal bone) 11 days ago.
Just gotta finish healing myself (almost there) and then get crackin.

Helluva Bull just south of Bay Center. Gotta get him on video as well. He's a stud. Maybe tonight.?

I wonder how many Mils/MOA it is from here to there.
Would coriolis apply at that range?

Might have to borrow a rifle from Theis to make the shot on that bull.

Larry, you'd have to gut him for me so the meat doesn't spoil before I get there.

Prolly smart keepin top wits negotiating tricky hills.

If my memory serves me better than @cornhusker86, you have a trick knee to go with your neck.
Best to be smart. No need to take risks.

Sure not gonna keep me from bustin yer chops though....... ?

Shit....now I'm hearing voices...

Neighbor has two boys. Both hunt and fish and they're good boys, but the youngest one, 10 or 11, is ALL about hunting and fishing.
They brought their laptops over for me to check over, update, etc.
The youngest had heard me say that if I had some fishing flies that looked like the pellet food I feed the hybrid stripers that I could easily catch them at feeding time.
He showed up with some flies he'd made for me from taxidermy foam and a couple from turkey feathers.

1J, I'm wondering why someone felt it necessary to date stamp the boxes? Maybe it doesn't hurt the value since there's tape wrapped around them also...

I know, right? I've got more questions than answers at this point, unfortunately both my Dad (step dad), and my Father are long long gone, so I'm stuck trying to piece it together.......

The cloth tabs are to make it easier to pull out of a crate. Pull the tab, the box comes out. They were stacked in wood crate/boxes with the ends and the tabs sticking up.

These were for loading when not in combat. In combat, magazines would generally carry extra rounds in M1923 pouches. The 20 round boxes were just for filling mags.

Cheers,
