? I didn’t. AC blows cold, but the heater core was partially plugged. It was the original (1998).
I guess the allure of shrimp tails and cat food was more than the trash bandit could bare. A 80 grain Nosler out of a 243 is still rolling right along at 60 yards.

I just know from way too much experience the evaporators are really bad about springing leaks, around here anyway. In Louisiana heat and humidity they may just be more prone to failure.

Actually getting a little work done finally. Skim coat of bondo to smooth this pos out
Applied the last coat of paint to the second side shelf for the reloading center.
73.5" wide 42" high. Full 72" inside length, 12" between shelves. We have one, maybe two daughters and a son in law dropping by for the weekend. Lots of young strong muscle to help get these things screwed to the wall.
About 40 sq. ft. of storage, with all my tools and toys should be able use every inch.

Inside is done. The texture is factory. It’s laid up fiberglass and it leaves a weave texture. Tomorrow I’ll do the outside. Not sure if I’ll get the metal flake done or might have to wait till Friday for that.

Repurposing last nights raccoon. I tossed him in the field about 200 yards from the house. Within 30 minutes we had 3 young Eagles and 1 mature adult on station. Crappy cell phone pic through the spotter. The old man eats first.
I'd say I'd rather do the case than anything made since 1990.
The tractor is not bad. It is heavy work. I use my truck crane to pull the cab and an over head crane for the rest. To split the engine from the transmission I use a small fork lift to pull the engine and front axle forward. There is enough weights on the front to keep it from tipping back. The front axle pivots so I use miners wedges to block the pivot points.
I’ve enjoyed your pics of splitting the Case IH. To the untrained eye, how ‘bout a pic or two of your findings? The good, the bad, and the ugly. I enjoy tearing something part and finding the broken part/missing link. Nothing worse than the report of “could not duplicate”.

It sure did. I’ve had a couple of wood chucks where it just rattled around inside but didn’t exit. In those cases, I don’t “feed” that carcass.

Great looking setup. Makes me want to hustle back to Venice, Lousiana, for tuna season.
I'm glad they got the boat they wanted, last year they went to the Bahamas and I could tell they weren't happy with the size and speed of their other boat. You know you're getting old when you catch yourself starting to say what's wrong with the one you have I guess it didn't stick out of the water far enough ??

Milled up some Cedar last night. Stars were out and Orions Belt was directly above. Pretty coolio. Big & Little Dipper's were showing well also.
This is a 30mph tractor. What you are looking at is the 19th gear clutch pack. You can see how the steel separators are warped from overheating. The clutch disks are worn down to steel also.
This is the 1st speed clutch hub. The hub broke where the snap ring is supposed to lock in the groove. Look at the white high lighted pieces.
