I'm not sure what the statute of limitations is, so I'll simply say that it "may" look familiar, but it was dark and as @Mike Casselton said, there were some loud noises going on.

@oneshot86 , that sounds great! Let me see if I can scrounge up some funds and I'll see what weekend works for you. Jules is in Boston for the forseseeable future, so a field trip may be in order. The bigger the trees the better, I need to get this 365 run in and tuned.

Really odd cloud between Carson City and Reno today. The picture doesn't do it justice, it looked like an upside down bowl and was completely open in the center.

i figger cut, split, stack the wood tight in your truck and trailer for the trip home, it will cost a little more in gas on the way back up, but shit, you will be commoditied up...

and i have a new pistol range now, so hell, we will have plenty to do.

and the beer store is next door, how fly is that

why dont you be a good son and go see your mother, then you could stop by

Okay, okay you got me there. She's been under the weather and I didn't get a flu shot. My sister lives across the street from her so she's looking out for her. She's sick too.

I know, I'm a shitty son.
Prolly Tues of next week is the best day for me

It was a ton of fun.
I should bring a drill and boring bit to see what the shorty wood scraps would say to the same treatment...

If my foggy memory of that serves, I believe I was on just that mission when I electrocuted myself in the tool room trying to grab an extension cord. A big drill and auger bit are already on the packing list in case Agent K stops by with more goodies. His concern last time was shrapnel, but I figure a palm frond or banana leaf held in front of our faces should provide adequate protection, safety first after all.

As for momma taking me skinny dipping in the wee hours, without my designated driver I anticipate passing out on whatever semi-flat surface is nearest to me once beer, chainsaw gas, and explosives are expended each day. I'll wash up in that cistern if it survives the antics.

Sounds like a plan, not sure if I trust my small trailer to make that drive back when it's loaded so I'll see if I can hunt up a road-worthy tandem axle. What's the caliber limit on the new range? And when are we going to be sober enough to handle weapons?

I remember the beer store, I think I was on a first name basis with all the employees by the end of that weekend. Great damn times.

Bogey,
You should bring that Dillon press down with you and I'll see if I can get it working for ya.
Or, trade you some gas money for it...

Thanks man, I may bring it down with whatever accessories I find if for no other reason than to have you explain what the hell it is and what it's supposed to do. I'd already forgotten about it again.

I know that this one was used previously for handgun ammo. The only Rifle ammo I could see messing with on it is 223, unless I used it as a single-stage for precision handloads?

All I have to do is watch one Elfster's videos to remind myself of why I've never gotten into it. Then I see some of his results and wonder why I never got into it, so I watch another of his videos to see if I could figure it out and just say "fuck it, match ammo is cheap compared to the time and money of handloading".

I actually do all my loading on single stage equipment. Then again, I have a lot of time.
Doing pistol ammo on it would save a bunch of shooting time.
Using it to load 223/5.56 for an A/R would be the tits though.

Seems trivial but have him set his mat up square to the target.
People seem to square up to the mat instead of the target.

So I am the guy TNichols was helping. Other than 2 modified PRS wannabe matches, all of my shooting has been off the bench. I am not really “getting” prone position so far. But I am willing to learn!

At first it feels ungainly/uncomfortable.
Recoil mitigation requires one to be square to the rifle a so thus to the target.

My weekend. Local recycling center had a accident with a inside shop door, one of the operators left the door to low and the boom to high, completely tore the door off. The place is way to active during the week, so I used Saturday and Sunday to get the new one installed. 10' wide by 12' high. Nice inside job, to cold to shoot anyway. Total elapsed time, two boxes of Cope. Several Buds last night to heal up from all the up/down ladder work.

I like my job, sure beats working for a living. And I've learned how to upload photos. 400 pixels W x 533 H seems to work.

Doing a little work on the baja bug this winter. Got an engine cage welded up and I'll be doing the final fitting of this front bumper tomorrow I think. Then on to electrical, swapping everything over to obnoxious LEDs. I may end up shortening this front bumper down the road. It works for now but it does stick out there a bit further than I care for. Room for a winch I suppose.

Maybe this will work,
