Maggie’s What's Your View II

Oh Oh I think we're beginning to see the effects of global warming I mean climate change here in Ohio. Something is wrong because we only had three of the four seasons this week.

Sunday- Summer

Yes. I'll have to look for it. It's a "short wire" spinner. Hence the issue with my jig. It's half the size of what it's for. It's the only ones I've made, the longer ones and that's what the jig is set up for.

edit: by the time you add the body, clevis, and blade, you've taken up pretty much all the room on the shaft so it won't fit correctly in the damn jig.

Ever consider a different vocation ?....

The elevation knob wouldn't lock and the windage wouldn't unlock. I also always though it was cloudy, like $30 Walmart scope cloudy. They replaced the knobs and disassembled and cleaned and purged. It seems more clear but hard to tell since we have a fresh blanket of snow and the sun is shining.

Twist the front loop like shown in the pic. Fold the back where the loop goes. Slide the body parts over. Open up the back to form the rear loop. Use a split ring to attach the hook.

Yes.
NOTHING drives bass nuts the way the spinner I posted does.
I have caught more big bass on that spinner than all others combined.
You run it fast, just under the surface, creating a wake on the surface, and they will not ignore it.

You know why it is taking him so long? He knows he has difficulty walking and chewing bubble gum at the same time. This flashes through his head every night.

That's supposed to be one of their higher end scopes too, is it not? Hope they fixed it for ya'

Yeah it's supposed to be. I traded a guy my Gen2 razor for it to cut a bit of weight and was never pleased with the image quality and tight eye box. I have a couple other vortex scopes that I have been happy with.

2A, that is why you always always always wear glasses when fishing.
I have seen this and many near misses a lot in my career. Most are easy to fix and vision is just fine.

That hook right in there is pretty nasty.

Oh yeah, do tell what the truck came in for....

He wants exact replica. Or as close as I can get it. If it isn't built spot on it may not perform as intended, but I get what you're saying I believe.

@1J04 04 needs a bubble wrap jump suit to protect him.

Truck came in for an oil leak. and 4x4 inop. In general I feel people get tired of being "up sold" stuff. Even If it is truly needed, many feel they are being scammed because they never noticed a problem. Soooo, I normally don't say much and focus on what I was told is the issue. If your window does not roll down, I could give two shits. I figure you don't care, I don't care. Unless I see a safety issue, even then I approach it gently. I don't need some one thinking ill of me. With that I obviously had to say something.

I promise it did not make a noise, at least by the time I saw it. I think the noise stopped weeks ago. Have you ever known anyone who just goes through life with their head up their ass, and some how skates by? Never really getting ahead, but never falling one their ass either. Well that would be this couple. I have worked on that truck for 10 years, ( it is a 2005). And yes I know it is a 6.0 powerstroke, but damn the way they take care of it they should have no complaints. The husband I am pretty sure only knows stop and wide open throttle. They do not call until it is just like that pulley. Good people very nice and always thankful for what I do, but holly shit.

I don't think they would notice their house was on fire until their eyebrows were gone.

On another note. Gonna have to get in whatever shooting I can here real quick. Gawd damn shoulder is acting up where the plate is installed. Sensitive, like me, to the touch for some damn reason. Plate has gotta go so setting up table time at the chop chop shop. Or I suppose I could just zip over to Utah and let @2ndamendfan put me on the rack.

oh no, problem...
does your knife say, china, on the handle, hmmmmmm?

It unfortunately does say China. Full disclosure as always. Gift from a friend that fell into a deal on a box of new knives. Had like 14 of them so I snagged the ghetto blade. I'll tell ya this though. That son of a bitch is solid as hell. I abuse the shit outta it and it holds a helluva edge. My Wife uses it for everything but a knife, like wives do. And still hasn't snapped the tip off it.

Took the dogs out Ames Monument last week.

Had to look up the Ames Monument on seeing your great picture.

HH Richardson would be what I would call one of my favorite architects. That pyramid of stone and the St Gaudens reliefs are American treasures. Lots of work by both artists here in the east.

In so much trouble. Might as well have the entire world pissed at me at once. They should have sent me to Court. Little back story is my Wife gave me my new Card this morning telling me you need to activate this since some asshat tried to by Itunes with my other card the other day. I'll be happy to report to her that it is in fact activated and 'apparently' working as intended.

And going to continue to load up every damn month and possibly twice a month or until my Wife voices a 'credible' threat.

Thank you again PSA. ;)

Need a couple 8 pounders of 4064 and a few more cases of 5.56 and 300 BO before I start to feel "ok". Want some 220 gr subs but there's not a deal I'm willing to get divorced over out there yet. Out of Stock is saving my marriage.

I just got my commission check for 2017. Read it and weep...... (I do give 1/2 to my wife. Ohh, yeah, we're still married. Hmm, she gets half either way.....she must like me )

(Now, if I could just find a way to get delivery of 2 Manners T2A's in less than 9 months, I'd be in heaven.......)

Oh you rat bastard. I was gonna put a T2A on my .308 5R MilSpec, but got a smok'n deal here on the Mcree G7 MLEV Folder and I don't regret it. At some point I'll be able to snag a Manners and put something in it. Looking forward to that day and that's half the fun. :sneaky:

^ Black yankee soldiers?

Robert Gould Shaw lead a black Regiment (54th Massachusetts) when no other officer would.

He died fighting at Fort wagner Sc leading his troops.

After the battle the Confederates returned the bodies of the dead Union officers except for RG Shaw.

They threw him in a Mass grave with his Troops with purpose.

Though intended as an insult it was viewed as an honor to be buried with his men.
