Yeah, that would be the quickest way to NOT get reelected in November.
That would be the best way to not have an election at all, based on what would most likely happen with fema conducting no knocks. The first few might go as planned but once that news spreads it will be game on across the country. They could shut down all the forms of comms they can control but they don't control everything,...

Does he know that a substantial portion of Americans have been preparing, spending shit tons of money, training for, and literally jittery with excitement since 2008 over the prospect of this very thing happening one day???

Shit, I still remember going to gun stores or online vendors and seeing Out of Stock signs for every TAPCO item... And don't even get me started about the .22 LR drought. Fucking stuff of nightmares, man...

Will never depreciate. Will hold its value. Would trade like currency. Better to have and not need than to...

On and on...

Yep...

Remember... After the SHTF / Flupocalypse / zombie locust plague also courtesy of 'Wuhan Biotechnology', there will only be one rule out there: "GAS, GRASS, OR ASS. NOBODY RIDES FOR FREE". And it will be enforced at gunpoint.

I suppose like anything its when you bought in.

I doubt from here on out you will see any further decrease in price. And thats what I attempted to preface.

I could be wrong.

What was 22lr going for from normal vendors leading up to the drought?
I was buying 550 federal boxs at china mart for 8.99 per. Everytime we went I would but 5-8 boxes an just put them in storage wife thought I was nut's. I got the last laugh though. When the B/S happened I traded 22lr at 35.00 per box for 2 700 Rems I now/still own. Sold many, many, many boxes to those who knew things like that would never happen for 50 a box. had 100 boxes at the local barber shop on consignment an he sold everyone an made 5 per.
I love those that say " that will never happen" no matter the subject as went it does they seem to fade into the wood work. Much like the Floods here last year an this year, or the tornadoes in 2011, the ice in 1996. Never prepare for anything, life will always be rainbows an unicorns,...

I had several bricks of .22 stored up for my 1911 drop in conversion kit during the time of the drought so I hadn't paid much attention to the prices. They seemed to be selling at normal price... It was just day after day, more and more vendors were reporting out-of-stocks, and then one day, it was like "shit, nobody got .22 LR anymore?"

To the point that some of the guys who sent their guns to me for repairs asked me if I had any extra .22's that I didn't need. I wound up selling a couple of bricks because I wasn't shooting them that much, being tied down with day job and shop work and what not. Still kept three bricks around for bugout use.

An actual news agency contacted FEMA....

From the Article linked above:

"
CLAIM: FEMA proposes “martial law to contain coronavirus”

AP’S ASSESSMENT: False. Officials with the Federal Emergency Management Agency confirmed that there are no plans to enact martial law in the U.S.

THE FACTS: In recent days, a false story circulated on social media claiming that FEMA was proposing martial law to contain the outbreak of a viral respiratory illness spreading around the world. Martial law would transfer power in the hands of the army. Martial law is military power including extending in time of war, during times of emergency.

“This article is not true.” FEMA said in an email sent Tuesday to The Associated Press, adding that they have not advocated for martial law.

More than 4,500 cases of the new coronavirus have been confirmed since the outbreak was identified last month in the Chinese city of Wuhan, with about 100 deaths reported by Tuesday. There are currently five confirmed cases in the U.S.

The false claims about martial law has circulated on Facebook since Jan. 23. “Acting FEMA Director Pete Gaynor on Wednesday offered President Trump a startling solution, Martial Law in the United States, to prevent the spread of a lethal Chinese Coronavirus that infected hundreds and killed at least 17 people in the Communist nation,” the post said.

False posts also circulated on Twitter. “Those who are ‘awake’ and aware completely understand the dormant plans for martial law and widespread FEMA detention camps in America,” a Twitter user falsely claimed."

Theories or not, don't be surprised if some "crisis" happens on a large scale, the government will be very happy to go full on communist/fascist dictatorship and say rights be damned.

And the sheep will BEG for it... BEG I say!

I imagine this is how the final gun control "debate" will go down.

The simple fact that Va. is like it is today is because many say an said, that will never happen. The other thing interesting is at times one must push the bounds, to see the reactions to judge when an where the bulk of resources need to be. Other a/o's will just simply walk to the cattle cars on their own. Intel comes in many different forms, then when you have gathered the info you need simply refute the story in the first place. Much like snoops, for years everyone thought they were the truth sayers, until it was proved they are ran but the left.

Looks like it goes both ways.

That article gets it pretty good.

There are basically two kinds of people in the world. The first kind, which describes the majority of sheep, emasculated liberal cucks, and emotional snowflakes, are those who allow their fear of something dangerous and repulsive such as governmental oppression, to overwhelm them. Through a combination of terror, pathetic optimism and denial of reality even in the face of facts, and lack of will, these people just sit there and allow themselves to be consumed.

For the other category, initial and momentary fear quickly turns into anger and hatred. Followed by creating and coming up with ways to permanently end the source of the threat. Get this group of people angry enough, and they will simply have no fucks to give. I, and everybody on this board, belong in that second category. So do about 5-10% of the populations in any country in general.

China is about to enter yet another interesting phase in it's long and complex history. Public anger is already mounting due to the death of the hero doctor Li Wenliang, who is now considered a martyr by the people, as well as the disappearances of several journalists who had tried to publish the truth. If things really do kick off in earnest, the death toll from the subsequent uprisings, revenge and reprisal by a population whose anger had been suppressed for the last 20 years, will make the death toll of the coronavirus look like child's play. Every resident in every town and city in China most likely already have a mental list of public officials and state enforcers that they absolutely hate. All they need is an opportunity to go after them, and they most likely will, with no mercy shown...

That reminds me. I need to by some more pyrodex.

Triple Se7en is much better, and cleaner. Just remember to use consistent pressure when you are seating the projectile, otherwise your standard deviation will go insane. And if you can get actual holy grail, like Goex, Swiss, or Olde Eynsford, get those instead. Pyrodex is extremely dirty, from my experience so far.

I think people are making way too big a deal of the Coronavirus.........yes it needs to be dealt with, but the CDC estimates between 291,000-646,000 people die of the flu world wide each year..........quite a few more than the current total of the Corona virus......

Which begs the question, why is China is going to such great lengths to quarantine it?

Which begs the question, why is China is going to such great lengths to quarantine it?

Because things are going way worse than the "official" reports say?
And other governments don't want to call them out on it for fear of not only retaliation, but mass panic?

Also a good time to round up anyone your surveillance system says may have been not totally happy with communist party rule?
