Recommend a Folder Chassis

Looking to get into a chassis, with the hope of something light enough for hunting but with adequate feature set, rigidity, and adaptability for the occasional competition. It'll be for the R700 SA footprint, right hand, and it needs to be a folder. Interested in thoughts on what's currently out there, including which is preferred when it comes to folding left vs right, ergonomics (I know it varies person to person, but I'm a pretty average sized fella), likes and dislikes with what you've used, etc. I expect I'll add weights at some point for balance, although it may not be critical as I'll be shooting suppressed mostly and that Ultra 7 should tip it forward a decent bit. I really like the look of the MPA Ultra Lite with an EVG and decent recoil pad, but I'm open to other suggestions in that price range. I don't like the looks of the HNT26 or Element Magnesium, so those are out for me.

Thanks for any ideas/thoughts y'all have.

Screw the UN...

This is unbelievable! I hate these people with a passion. Fuck these hypocritical ass people. Supposed to be for the greater good and want to take arms from the common people or register their arms so they can find them later while they are simultaneously financed by a terrorist org who just left literal weapons of war to a terrorist group. All these people are insane. Yes normal critical thinking people hate you. I’m sorry if you are too stupid to figure out why. Why is the UN still around?

Any SOT's ??

So....by chance I have a good relationship with several local sheriff's CLEOs in my area.

I'd like to turn my hobby into a profit center supplying local law enforcement with firearms. So I'm thinking to get the SOT.

$500 / yr I believe.

Other than the form / application, the annual tax and likely some reporting requirements, what's involved? Office / storage site inspections? Local / Federal applicable law?

Good / bad experiences?

Thanx.

I didnt know this about Ron

Sent to me by a friend, Quite the resume.

Just in case you were wondering why 60 Minutes had a hit piece on the Governor of Florida. Anyone who criticizes him - I have a question for you - can you please post your education and service to our country resume so we can put things in perspective?

“Ronald Dion DeSantis was born on September 14, 1978, in Jacksonville, Florida, the son of Karen (née Rogers) and Ronald DeSantis.[1] He is of Italian descent.[2] His family moved to Orlando, Florida, before relocating to Dunedin, Florida, when he was six years old.[3] In 1991, he was a member of the Little League team from Dunedin National that made it to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.[4][5]
After graduating from Dunedin High School in 1997, DeSantis attended Yale University. He was captain of Yale's varsity baseball team and joined the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity.[5][6] On the Yale baseball team, DeSantis was an outfielder; as a senior in 2001, he had the team's best batting average at .336.[7][8][9][10]
He graduated from Yale in 2001 with a B.A. magna cum laude in history.[11] He then spent a year as a history teacher at the Darlington School.[12] DeSantis then attended Harvard Law School, graduating in 2005 with a Juris Doctor cum laude.[13][14]
DeSantis received his Reserve Naval officer's commission and assignment to the Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG) in 2004 at the U.S. Naval Reserve Center in Dallas, Texas, while still a student at Harvard Law School. He completed Naval Justice School in 2005. Later that year, he received orders to the JAG Trial Service Office Command South East at Naval Station Mayport, Florida, as a prosecutor. In 2006, he was promoted from lieutenant, junior grade to lieutenant. He worked for the commander of Joint Task Force-Guantanamo (JTF-GTMO), working directly with detainees at the Guantanamo Bay Joint Detention Facility.[15][16][17]
In 2007, DeSantis reported to the Naval Special Warfare Command Group in Coronado, California, where he was assigned to SEAL Team One and deployed to Iraq[18] with the troop surge as the Legal Advisor to the SEAL Commander, Special Operations Task Force-West in Fallujah.[15][16][17]
DeSantis returned to the U.S. in April 2008, at which time he was reassigned to the Naval Region Southeast Legal Service. The U.S. Department of Justice appointed him to serve as an Assistant U.S. Attorney[18] at the U.S. Attorney's Office in the Middle District of Florida. DeSantis was assigned as a trial defense counsel until his honorable discharge from active duty in February 2010. He concurrently accepted a reserve commission as a lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General's Corps of the US Navy Reserve.[19] He was awarded the Bronze Star Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and the Iraq Campaign Medal.[15][16][17”

Where do you get your news?

Based on what I read on the Hide, I would say the membership is fairly well informed. I surf different channels, subscribe to several Substack writers and listen to several podcasts-Darkhorse is excellent for 'rona news, Bari Weiss' Honestly and a few of the folks I follow on twatter provide really good information that doesn't require me looking up shit to make sure it's real. My issue is I'm lazy and all these pod casts take time to watch and don't provide really current information.
What does the Hide recommend?

Dogs left behind in their crates

I was very upset last night watching Tucker Carlson on FOX when he reported with photo's of all the dogs left in their crates at the airport after the last flight left.
I'm an old guy and remember all the dogs shot or left behind when the handlers came home from Vietnam. I thought we were past that shit. Evidently not.
Left to die of thirst, starve, or most likely shot by the Taliban. Another sad day for America. Where does it end?
Those dogs deserved better.
