Ingenuity Precision trickler

It doesn’t matter how or why there is so much consternation, it matters that so many people are experiencing and expressing it

In any case, the message is out: if you promise something way too early and then delay and delay and delay and fail to communicate along the way, you piss a bunch of people off and ruin your credibility

You can like it or not, but that’s just the way it is

But you will still present your card when asked!

I've been called a lot things but none of them are as bad as being accused of buying a $900 matchmaster
Well gee, Maury, if you ever served your country instead of just arrogantly mouthing off, one of them wouldn’t cost you nearly that much.

Go try to fuck with someone else. Goodbye.

Doesn’t matter to me either way. I’ll happily pay for it whenever I get the email, just as I’m sure most people that preordered it will do the same…

I’m just wondering why anyone has their panties in a bunch over it when they aren’t out any money, or why it even matters when the units are ready for the same reason.

More than a few people held out on getting other options because of the original release date. Those are probably the majority of the pissed folks.

We’re making a stink about it because when this was teased it was absolutely going to be a game changer. Still will but when you’re waiting for something that you already saved the money for and it keeps getting pushed back over and over it’s frustrating. This is like buying a suppressor with a trust.

No money out of pocket yes but being anxious to have a premium loading system is another level.

Face it, their board and want to whine because their oatmeal wasn’t ready

technically a "spelling error" or mistaking homonyms. Grammar is "the whole system and structure of a language or of languages in general, usually taken as consisting of syntax and morphology (including inflections) and sometimes also phonology and semantics."

^This. I sold other machines in anticipation of IP based on Feb release date, only to hand trickle for many looooong months, and then relented and bought an ATV2 to tide me over.

That is a real tangible inconvenience suffered for a wildly unrealistic timeline for release, and I'm not the only victim of this planning fallacy.

If I tell you I'm going to meet you at the match as your spotter at 8AM (with no money down! No contract signed!) and I don't get there till noon, and you have to scramble to make alternative arrangements, you're understandably pissed.

I guess I kinda get the opportunity cost thing but I also don’t… you’d have to be super naive to buy into something like this without hedging. How many times have we seen the exact same thing happen when a new product comes to market? I can’t remember a single one that was actually on-time.

And I sold a SuperTrickler and a V4 last year in anticipation of the IP release as well… definitely wouldn’t have done that without a V3 as backup. Maybe that’s just me.

This is more like grabbing a free TBAC cert off a prize table and then bitching about their lead times… no customer money involved, no delivery commitment. Simple as that.

Could they have been more up front about when they would be ready? 100%. Are they going to face customer attrition from taking so long to get to market? Absolutely. All I’m saying is that the outcry from dudes that currently have zero vested interest is pretty laughable.

And all this time, my V4 has been serving me perfectly.
Sorry, just had to get this dig in after all the wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Yep! I've spent my time deciding if I like my V4 or ST better. I'm really liking the ST - working well for me and the interface is great. Anytime I DON'T have to use my phone or mess with multiple pieces and wires makes things better.

I just threw in the towel on the waiting game. I bought the IP Trickler by itself and the electronics to run it from Auto Trickler (V3). I set it up last night and it worked great during my testing. I'm still manually throwing, of course, but that's pretty fast. It's the manual trickling that takes so long, plus you can't be doing anything else at the same time. The IP trickles much faster and more accurately than manual, and you can be seating a bullet over the previously charged round while it is running - so a double time-saver. I'm now not as concerned when the complete system will be out. I just need the conversion.

Now that the dock workers are on strike I wonder what that does to the dozens of components from around the world that make up this nifty contraption we are all waiting for. I’m think first orders might ship in 2026 at this point because the supply chain is gonna be completely f’d for the next 6-9 months at a minimum.
Oh, wow. You may be right!😱

Depends where they are expected to land. Only East / Gulf coast ports are impacted.

The strike does not impact west coast ports as they have a different union and a new contract as of last year. There may be slight delays as the west coast ports see higher volume but shouldn't be a major disruption for shipments coming through west coast ports.

Do you really think small parts for this powder system, in numbers in proportion to reloaders who would buy such a system, will be shipped here by sea? That would astound me.

No impact.

I needed my daily dose of snideness, and I came here and I’m disappointed

Was there really no one who could think of something creative or ironic to say about our conundrum today?

Meanwhile, I hand dropped 50 rounds of 375 Chi tac with an RCBS uni flow powder measure (135 gr of H50BMG) and topped it off with an ATV2 trickler today, all the while wishing I had put down a $500 deposit in December of last year, so that my bitching and pissing and moaning could be recognized as legitimate here

As I posted earlier, I gave up and ordered the IP Trickler alone, and the V3 electronics, cable, and power supply so I am now hand-throwing and IP-trickling. It’s working great.

So I have a friend with an AT V4. He wants to add the IP Trickler to it. Am I correct in telling all HE needs is the IP Trickler and the V4 cable? For those of you with the AT V4/IP trickler combo, have you been happier with it over the AT V4 alone? (ie worth it)?

It will not be as fast with V4. The best thing to do is score a V3.

Correct.

I run a IP trickler with my v4 and I'd say its well worth it. Although it may ne be quite as fast as a V2/V3 and IP combo its definitely faster than a stock v4 and overthrows are a thing of the past.

Thanks. That's about all he's looking to do (stop the overthrows). I can understand the V2, V3 might be better overall (and I appreciate the info from the above posters), but If he was going to sell his V4 for something else that isn't even available, I'd tell him to just wait for the IP System. :ROFLMAO: (A little dig/joke at IP for teasing us this long, but still true).

If it's at least as fast as his stock V4, and will stop his overthrows, he will be happy. Then he can always upgrade to the complete system when it comes out if he wants to.

I hated the v4 so much i sold it so I wouldn't have to look at it. I also think the backtracking from the large tube was a part of the v4 downfall. I still resent Adam for selling me that piece of shit v4. I bought the V3 + IP and never been happier
