Can you imagine being placed in a position as a Naval Captain largely due to being an open lesbian to fulfill some sort of arbitrary quota and use that position only to take your ship to run aground, catch it on fire, and then sink it? And all due to abject negligence during routine maneuvers to boot?

And it only gets worse, it makes national news AND all the "naysayers" who have for decades admonished the very practice that put this person into said position and forewarned the lack of qualifications would result in such negative results... not only did they at least triple down, but now (as a public lesbian) the very same naysayers now get to pat themselves on their shoulders and quite literally revel in the fact on "how many boxes" you were successful in checking for them.

One can easily assume that a person is not a member of an extremely small minority if they are not identified as being a member. I can reasonably assume that all members of this forum are not lesbians. Not that hard to understand.

And there were absolutely no lesbians in command, as there were no women commanding officers. I did not say involved. So you have no point.

Give it up. I have no idea what the hell he's even arguing about. We've both posted magazine articles that have the exact same quotes. She's a lesbian. We all agree. This is her first command. We all agree. She had two years of command experience. We all agree. Was she hired because of "diversity"? Who the hell knows? Did she screw up? Time will tell.
