    Pretty much what Chad said, the bolt will push the round forward until it starts up the feed ramp, and then the case head drops down under the bolt.

    Soooo, if there was an outbreak of say small pox, or something else that would really fuck you up, or kill you if you got it, you wouldn't get vaccinated? Not criticizing you for your choices, just asking.

    If you're going to build, I'd recommend a Spike's CL barrel in whatever length/profile you prefer, and as already mentioned a ToolCraft bcg as the heart of it. I wouldn't worry too much about billet uppers, and lowers unless you just want one.

    myronman3, is right it's possible to load 180gr. and up, to subsonic velocities, but finding something that'll work for self-defense in the 10 is going to be non-existent (in a factory load). Plus, you may run into cycling issues as well, don't know for sure as I've never loaded any sub-sonics...

    Just installed the DIP bottom metal, it helped a tad, but not enough. I'll probably give LRI a call some time, there are couple other things I may have them work on while they have it anyway.

    Guys, I have a lot of adapters (direct thread, 3-lug, fixed barrel spacers, etc), pistons, take down tools, sometimes I run them in a K config, and I need something to keep it all in one place. If you throw yours in the truck floor and let the shit roll around all over the place, get stepped...

    I was thinking about maybe getting some type of case that I can put them in, along with my adapters and stuff. Looking for ideas/solutins that I haven't thought of yet. You guys on the 'Hide are good thinkers, well most of you anyway. ;)

    I don't shoot too many lead bullets. My Dad casts, swages, gas checks, pistol/rifle all that stuff, I'll be honest..........it looks like a huge PIA. He did get some (I think) polymer coated bullets from Missouri Bullet Co. this week that looks interesting.

    Keep on hatin', they are everywhere! There is some differences in the guide rods between Gen3-4, but I don't know if there is a difference in the barrels, where the guide rod seats.
