According to an old ad from Hodgdon when they first came out with their "Extreme" powder line (don't remember if they were using THAT name yet), in .308 using 168-gr bullets, 4064 was halfway between the temperature/velocity sensitivity of WW-748 and the Hodgdon offering...either Varget or H4895, I think it was Varget.
I don't remember the temperature range reported, but it was big enough to illustrate the point...something like 20 F to 95 F or something.
