10.7 lbs without scope, surpressor, and bipod is a light as I've gotten a 22" 3B contour AI without cutting into material. Weight was mostly from side panels, spigot mount, and sling mounts. With an AMG, rings, caps, and TBAC Ultra 7 and its around 13.8lbs

I knew it!

Do you shoot with it this way? Tell me you’re not joking. Please tell me you’re not joking!

That thumbhole grip now somehow looks like the winged foot of the Greek god Nike.

Yes I only have one bolt gun so this has been my main setup for the last year or so. I got bit by the idea of stripping as much weight as I could off my AT for hunting.

I think between shortening and fluting the barrel to 16", and not using the steel cheekpiece hardware it would be possible to take off another lb. Take off another 0.5lb if I downsized with a 19-21 oz optic like a NXS 2.5-10, shcmidt klassik, or March 3-24x42.

Removing the sidepanels does make the foreend much less comfortable to hold. The velcro tape helps.

I think an AXSA would be even lighter if you take the fore-end off and run entirely off an arca adaptor on the chassis body.

I think I’d just roll a savage or Ruger American for hunting before doing that to my AI

Sure it looks cool…but it’s owner is a useless fuck who acts like it’s day one at a match 😂

I'm pages behind and catching up so, I can take the QC sticker off my NF it gains weight; if I add a throw lever to my NFs, does that raise my coolness level?
Take the QC sticker off your Nightforce and put it on the Tangent you buy to replace it.

Man I must have missed the memo. What does the throw lever do on a TT? Is it like pressing the turbo button on pc xt? Or more like engaging the ankle strap on a pair of crocs? If it makes the numbers bigger and easier to read it would prob be worth $1000

It doubles as a throwing star. So when the marathon targets get too close and you’re out of ammo, you can go all HAM ninja on em. Duh.
