Does anyone have any experience running 6gt in an Accuracy International AXSR?
I am looking to purchase an AXSR and would like to shoot 6gt in it if possible. But heard that the 6gt might be too short to run reliably in the axsr magazine.
Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Your first hurdle is going to be finding a blank that fits AXSR/AXMC. For the most part you are going to have a hard time finding 1.350" 6mm shank unless its custom. Or there a couple of smiths that have made sleeves/collars that fit.
I called them, ended up chatting with Dale at Elite Iron. One of his spigots is now in the mail.
First time taking out the AT. My son getting some time behind it.
That first tiny group was 3-shots, rounds 5,6 & 7 on that brand new barrel. The larger 5-shot group was fired about 20 rds later. No barrel break-in either.
Not even tuned loads, just grabbed what reloads I had for my Mausingfield and headed out.
Had to go or we would’ve been snowed out again until next weekend or later. Been impossible to get to any of my usual spots with the historic amounts of rain/snow we’ve been getting in N. Nevada.
What a fun night. Stuck a headlamp on the target down range in the snow so we could see it in the dark. It’s now pounding snow again, we had a window this evening so I went for it. I’ve had the rifle for two weeks and haven’t been able to shoot it because of the road access due to the weather. Been absolute torture.

Was out yesterday shooting at some targets 550-850 or so yards. Couldn't get consistent hits at distance. Only when I expended all my ammo did I happen to reach out and turn the barrel. Thought the suppressor mount was loose. Nope, totally forgot to tighten down the barrel bolt. It was only hand tight. I was thinking the whole time, this is the reason why I hate 308s so much. Nope, I can say I'm the idiot on this one. lol

Well at least it was user error and not some legit problem with your equipment that couldn’t readily be fixed. See the positive!
Lol I haven't been there yet with my AI but I have with a loose suppressor and feel the pain.
On another note, I used to have consistency issues at the AIs 49lbs and started using a fix it stick at 55# and never had an issue. I've wondered if AIs 49# spec is for dry threads, I typically like a very light coat of a grease on my threads and the extra few lbs helped me.
Just so you know. To get the same 49# dry clamping load you would use 30-40% less torque when oiled. So if you take the middle number and call it 35%. To get the same clamp load of 49# dry you would only need 32# wet. So 55# wet would be ~74# dry.

There’s been several guys reporting using 55-60” lbs on their AIs with better results
I do 55in lbs and it's much more consistent.... when I remember to tighten it down at least.
To the barrel bolt yes but that's not the part I'm referring to. Since you are clamping the tenon and it's not torqued into the action you'd need more clamping pressure wet vs dry (is what I'm guessing).
Honestly in all my schooling I never dealt with clamp pressure wet vs dry and just a torqued bolt/nut situation. Not really sure how it behaves but my guess is as I explained above and how I've been justifying my 55lbs

Running 6.5 CM I've had a couple random feeding issues if I ran the bolt really slow (it seemed) using the S/A mags. I imagine those failures would increase with the shorter 6GT length.
You can be the one to forge the way and find out for us though!
LOL.
I thought about trying 6GT in my AXSR, and decided a better idea was just to put a short action back into the stable.
