Yes I believe that one was discontinued by RRS. I’d look at Sawtooth’s Arca rail for the AT. It lets the gun sit lower vs the RRS rails.

Can you clarify what you mean by PRC bolts?Yes
AT will be a thing of the paat
Same as the 223 & PRC bolts
I read in another thread that AINA recommends running the action, bolt and firing pin completely dry and free of lubrication. Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.
I love my AT. The only reason at this time i could possibly think as to why i might move it on is because i want to get another Long Action Rifle for some ELR at some point in the future... to save on buying two lots of glass, i might consider selling the AT and buying a MC... maybe.
Yes I recall being told the same. But if finances dictate and the ELR itch grows, I may not have a choice.Someone here referred to the MC as "mostly a prone gun" and that's really resonated with me.
Still extremely happy with mine but I wouldn't recommend selling a short action AI to move to an MC or SR.
Mine was getting very tough to run in a match with cold , rain and snow. It’ll go way easier with some lube
And we all know that the most contributing factor to skill is looking goodhaving owned and competed with an AX and now an AT, I much prefer the AT over the AX. If AI did the transfer from magwel handguard to tube more like Cadex I'd have an AX now. That sharp drop always found a way to F me like an angry pimp when trying to set up on obstacles, it is a very nice mostly prone gun though, was always super comfortable. If I was serious about competing again and just just doing it every now and then id probably have an AT-X or drop my AT in an AO chassis, both are a lot more geared for the game, but the AT is just too sexy.
if I have a shitty day at least i know 75+ dudes were checking me out.......And we all know that the most contributing factor to skill is looking good![]()
Epic picture!
Did you cut the trigger finger off you glove
The Fix It Sticks extended ball but worked for me. But yea they are hard to find…and fuck that location.I love my AXSR with all my heart, but why in god's name did they put the rear receiver bolt directly under the mag catch?? The only ball end I've found that can actually get to it is a allen wrench, and I want a 1/4" bit extension but can't find one with enough approach angle. I really don't want to knock the mag catch out every time I want to check torque.
It's a rhetorical question, they did it that way because that's the way the geometry worked out, I know.
Pic because this is a pic thread.

Looks like it's time to get some Fix It Sticks, been thinking about it anyway. So, you can use the torque driver with the extended bit and get in there?
Those mag catch pins are directional also. So something to keep in mind before hammering em out and messing up the holes. And that mag catch sucks to put back in. Best to just get a quality extened ball head.I love my AXSR with all my heart, but why in god's name did they put the rear receiver bolt directly under the mag catch?? Weirdly, I prefer using the MC in comps compared to the AT but both will do just fine!Someone here referred to the MC as "mostly a prone gun" and that's really resonated with me.

Nice one cheers.Weirdly, I prefer using the MC in comps compared to the AT but both will do just fine!
@JayjayUK you can try my MC at Bisley or one of the PRS shoots and see for yourself
[I appreciate the sin of using a Harris on any AI, I have repented]

This AT is the one rifle I’ll never sell. No plans to sell the MC either but it comes down to it the AT still is king in this castle
Save for the MC or SRView attachment 8053934View attachment 8053935View attachment 8053936
Looking to get a gen3 razor for my AT. What height spur is that? Will 1.18” clear?Nothing wrong with a Vortex on an AI![]()
Mine is a NF ATACR 7-35Looking to get a gen3 razor for my AT. What height spur is that? Will 1.18” clear?
This is the one on mine...But it is on a AI 20 degree rail.Looking to get a gen3 razor for my AT. What height spur is that? Will 1.18” clear?
Seeing reports from shot show indicating AI may replace the AT with the AT-X line. As in eliminate the AT
Anyone have any truth to this? Personally I think the AW/AT is still the best AI ever made. In green of course
It’s just an AT in a new chassis homie lol
Lol you think that I have time to reload ?Rcbs really ? Lol
Husky is a Prometheus type of guyRcbs really ? Lol

No harm will come to you.I removed the quick change screw completely unintentionally
Finally got an AIAT I’ve been wanting for awhile. Just waiting on a set of scope rings. I took the skins off and took the barrel off to make sure everything was clean and put some anti seize on the barrel threads. I removed the quick change screw completely unintentionally but I minded the smaller wash as not to lose it and reinstalled it, the barrel and torque it to 49in/lb. I then noticed in the manual that it says not to completely remove the quick change screw… oops. I assume this is so you don’t lose the screw and/or washer. Correct?
I just wipe down the bolt when ever I clean the barrel. No solvent or anything. I will then apply a coat of oil, work the bolt back and forth a few times in the action and then wipe down again.Anyone else get a sticky bolt ? What fixed it. Dry or wet it still does it. Binds during forward travel. Maybe I need to soak the action in CLR cause gun scrubber ain’t cutting it.

Surely, temperature sensitivity wouldn’t be an issue? Dumb question, I know…Truth. My axsa was butter smooth.
It starting doing it after sitting in the snow and freezing rain during a delay at a match.
