His finger is on the trigger, can't tell if the hammer is back. It clearly was when he shot her.
At the 46 second mark his thumb returns to the handle after moving rearward during the draw. Appears that he is trying to practice cocking through the draw.
Just saw on the news that there are text messages between the producer and someone else that reveal the producer was intending on using live ammo for the movie.

Sounds like there were a lot of fuck ups. bottom line is Alec was wielding the firearm when it went of and killed someone. When all else is said and done the buck stops right there. Rules 1-2-and 3 were all violated.

I mean…. Most people can’t afford an up-and-coming Hollywood star cinematographer. But what if, say, you could buy some kids from a poor family for a lot less? Hey, family, how about a new car for your kid? Or a washer dryer? Because that is the precedent if he is not charged.

The Expert was negligent. Baldwin accidentally killed someone with something that should have not killed them. Seems like manslaughter to me. I haven't looked up the statutes on NM though.
