Is this bottom metal something that you would want to share temporarily for us to find another person to replicate them?Does anyone have diagram showing the FN-H SPR / Win short action mod for CDI bottom w/ AICS magazines??
My A3-G was converted to CDI bottom metal before I bought it.
I found another CDI short action bottom metal and want to have another action set up. I thought I had a diagram but of course I can't find it now.
Thanks !
Tim
I was just on their web page and it isn’t listed.Did the DBM ever happen from Long Rifles Inc?

yes I’m the seller…
I’ve put about 200 through. I am the second owner. Threaded at factory as far as I know. Its all factory except the stock work and threaded bolt handle by SAC.Round count? Was it threaded at the factory, or was it threaded aftermarket?
You’re probably right, FN’s description states a recessed crown, not a thread. If anything, SAC probably did it better then.I don't think the A1A was threaded at the factory. I would Ass uMe it was done by the smith when SAC had it.
Nice buy and great choice in optic IMHO.Not a SPR, but a PBR in .308. I just picked it up from a SH member, in unfired condition.

Handy rifle. I was eyeballing that when it was in the classifieds. Also picked it up myself. Not a SPR, but a PBR in .308. I just picked it up from a SH member, in unfired condition.

very nice! I had a similar PBR (mine eventually ended up in a McMillan A3 takeoff stock) that shot really well. From what I have seen these are an excellent value. Not a SPR, but a PBR in .308. I just picked it up from a SH member, in unfired condition.

By chance does anyone know where I can find 10 round tbm mags? I’ve seen 5 round mags around but 10 round mag have been none existent.
Did there happen to ever be any follow-up re: your initiative here?Guys, I’ve found a donor that’s willing to send out his CDI bottom metal for reproduction.
Anyone have a machine shop that can make duplicates?
Or some decent measuring equipment to at least draw up the bottom metal?
It did not. I don’t have a machinist.Did there happen to ever be any follow-up re: your initiative here?
I'm pretty eagerly searching for some CDI Bottom Metal for my A3G
It did not. I don’t have a machinist.
Do you know of one that is capable?
Womp womp.
Will ask around in my circles.
Is this something that Sam with Accuracy Obsession could help with?It did not. I don’t have a machinist.
Do you know of one that is capable?
I saw they had 5 round mags as well for $50 each.Midway has the TBM kit with 5 and 10 round mags right now. I thought they were sold out years ago.
Not cheap, but in cases like mine where the old DBM was starting to fail, it may be worth it.
What was failing?
Wow, that’s the highest I’ve ever seen the kit listed! Glad I stocked up on 10rnd mags when I could, though a few more 5rnd wouldn’t hurt.
