Why is it that certain teams never seem to get any breaks whatsoever? I watched a game last night in which one team spent the game holding on just about every one of their offensive plays, and even threw in spearing, pass interference, and late hits, and never got called for a thing until late in the third quarter. When they did, the network broadcast booth brain trust immediately questioned their judgement, even though they had remained mute up until then about all the flags that never got thrown by what seemed to be an intentionally oblivious and biased crew on the field.

Is there some sort of an agenda on the part of the management to see to it that some franchises play on an unequal field? Maybe not, but it sure starts to look that way.

I won't make any statements regarding officiating bias, but I am very frustrated with the quality of officiating in the NFL as a whole. It just seems ridiculous to me that a multi-billion dollar league (with tax exampt status no less) doesn't have full time professional officials that must keep a certain physical standard and have COMPLETE knowledge of the rules. Bias of the commentators, well I can agree with that.

To all those who's teams made it to the post season, Enjoy!

Remember the big hub-bub last year and how Kraft came in at the last minute and saved the season. Over how much the owners and players split over the course of a year?

Las Vegas rakes in that much every month on pro sports....what's that tell you? IMO, I've seen all the major sports in the last few years have "bought and sold" games before the kickoff/tipoff/first pitch.

I'm all for people with disabilities having equal opportunity for jobs but NFL referee should NOT be one of them. SF got screwed on the calls. Still made a lot of mistakes on their own but got screwed on the calls.
