Can a wobbly bench cause powder bridging?

I'm having a terrible time with Varget bridging in my RCBS Pro2000 while I'm loading 223 NM ammo.

I haven't tried the used dryer sheet trick that I read about in a search. I'm a bachelor so tell me----why the hell do people use dryer sheets in their laundry, anyhow?

Has anyone noticed a correlation between the wobbliness of their reloading bench and the frequency of Varget bridging?

It's really, really wobbly.

Thanks,
Bob

I used a folding table for reloading for a while, and never experienced powder bridging - not caused by the table, anyway. I did experience bridging caused by high humidity, but turning on the dehumidifier cured that.

Sorry Boltripper, no more cheap beer for me since the Marechal Foch down at The Broken Tractor Winery got barreled. Now it's free wine, which beats the hell out of cheap beer :^)

NicholsT55, there's definately not too much humidity here, as I heat my home with two woodstoves. It's good to know about your experience with the card table, though. That sounds even cheaper (and wobblier) than my made-from-wood-I-found-in-the-basement-of-the-farmhouse-I-rented-in-gradschool table!

I'll look for other causes, and maybe even buy some damned dryer sheets.

Thanks guys,
Bob

This helped one guy and actually made his throws more consistant.
Lol
Should keep the powder from bridging.
