The black or red is just for the bolt handle?
Last I checked it is not yet tomorrowHas anyone been able to "ADD TO CART" yet? It's well past 8 am PST . . . hope this doesn't turn into another MDT Black Friday . . .
Best I can tell by looking on the site for bolt knob options, is that the classic is the original ARC bolt knob and the hourglass is the new one shown on the renderings we’ve seen so far for the CDG.whats the difference between the classic and hourglass bolt handle?

unfortunately i dont think its gonna happen by tomorrow morningHoping we get some photos of the various options regarding bolt handles and fluting
AT LEAST 24 hours is what was said.preorder is only for 24 hours? Wow website is gonna be down haha
my guess is the hourglass is the one on the render, the classic is their normal one, and the ball will be like the ball handles for a tikkaWhich bolt handle knob is which ? I like the new one, what is it called ?
That’s my take too, as I said above.my guess is the hourglass is the one on the render, the classic is their normal one, and the ball will be like the ball handles for a tikka
I wouldn’t even consider a fixed handle, the pivot is one of the coolest parts about this action.Now... pivoting or or STD bolt...hmmm...
Knob options...
You will take the flutes that Saint Ted gives you, peasant!I'm expected to preorder without knowing what kind of fluting I am getting. Preposterous!
The different styles of fluting you can get:I'm expected to preorder without knowing what kind of fluting I am getting. Preposterous!
What....never went on a blind date?I'm expected to preorder without knowing what kind of fluting I am getting. Preposterous!
Well yeah. Once and only once. Hence, my concern.What....never went on a blind date?
The color option is only for the bolt knob and trigger hanger.View attachment 8069393
The black or red is just for the bolt handle?
You will be able to order them but they wont be ran on the initial batch.I understand the left-hand and long actions will follow, but will they be available for preorder tomorrow?
Thx

Something Ted said about better trigger timing tolerance with the fixed handle stuck out to me though.I wouldn’t even consider a fixed handle, the pivot is one of the coolest parts about this action.
I caught that and am curious as well.Something Ted said about better trigger timing tolerance with the fixed handle stuck out to me though.
Does anyone remember if there are additional parts that need to be purchased to change between fixed and floppy handle? I don’t think so(but can’t remember 100%) and don’t really want to sift through 24 pagesSomething Ted said about better trigger timing tolerance with the fixed handle stuck out to me though.

Perhaps there's more info mentioned somewhere else...
Thanks for finding this. Didn’t want the daunting task of looking thru 24 pages.Coup De Grâce, New Action from American Rifle Company, $899 WOW!
People of Earth, American Rifle Company proudly introduces the Coup De Grâce at the hard to believe introductory price of only $899. We'll be taking orders soon, probably in about eight weeks once actions are on the shelf. From the Oxford English Dictionary: e. coup de grâce n. /ku də ɡras/...www.snipershide.com
This was what I found in this thread, seems to suggest it's different part (the handle specifically).
Something Ted said about better trigger timing tolerance with the fixed handle stuck out to me though.
I could certainly roll with this tune of what looks to be the non pivoting handle in the video. (Go to 5:00 to get to the tune)
I was informed the super light diamond triggers with trigger pulls under 1lb would be better suited to the non pivot handle. The pivoting handle can drop the light triggers upon rearward travel of the bolt...
The TT Special runs down to a pound. ARC uses TT specials with no problems with pivoting handles. It is the TT Diamonds set light that are said to be a problem.I have a special and i usually run mine 17-20oz. You feel the pivot would be pretty solid with that?
I imagine this doesn't exist with two stage TT Diamonds. The TT Special runs down to a pound. ARC uses TT specials with no problems with pivoting handles. It is the TT Diamonds set light that are said to be a problem.
Perfect! We’ll be able to swap handles down the line anyway if it becomes a problem. The TT Special runs down to a pound. ARC uses TT specials with no problems with pivoting handles. It is the TT Diamonds set light that are said to be a problem.
Effortless primary extractionWhat's the benefit of the pivoting handle over the fixed?
